Dr. Scott Warren Houghton

Dr. Houghton has been and will continue to be my Doctor. He is knowledgable, kind and caring for his patients.

Warm and compassionate; felt like I was his only patient; friendly staff who have gotten me and my family members in on a very last minute basis; professional and excellent diagnostitian. I refer my friends to him when their doctors can't figure out the problem or just don't listen. We don't mind the wait because he sees pts on emergency situations as we have been "that Patient" before.

Dr. Houghton is the kindest, most attentive and caring doctor that I have ever had. He spends as much time as he needs to with you to determine the best course of action. He treated my elderly mother with such gentleness and patience and has found out what was wrong with me when no one else could. Thank you Dr. H

Dr. Houghton has a comfortable, easy manner about him. As such, I discuss my health issues in greater detail than I have with other physicians over the years. The details are not simply written in my chart, "take two of these and I'll see you in six weeks" he listens, discusses my concerns, and explains his recommendations in a way that I can understand. Also, I have never felt rushed. Often doctors have patients waiting for them in the next room and you know after 10 minutes time is up...

Dr. Houghton is an excellent Doc if you are looking for one that spends time with you and cares about your medical issues as well as you as a person!

Dr. Houghton is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met and I have an enormous amount ofexperience with all types of doctors in various situations. I have no doubt he will be exonerated of any negative charges against him.

Dr. H. not only helped and supported myself but my husband as well. At no time did this doctor overuse his authority, give the wrong diagnosis or show anything but compasion and complete professionalism. Both my husband and I are two very sick people, I would not trust our care to any other doctor if given a choice. God Bless you Dr. H. we know that you will get thru this with your head held high. We are behind you 1000%!

My husband and I were patients of Dr. Houghton's from 2003 to 2009. We now live in Il. Dr. Houghton is the most caring and approachable Dr. I have ever had. He would always take the time to listen. He was wonderful with my husband who has had two strokes. I felt very secure knowing he was taking care of us. I know I'll never find another like him. We miss him terribly. He is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I have been diagnosed with a very serious and difficult to treat disease. Dr. Houghton has been a God-send to me. In the past 2 years under his care, he has listened to my concerns, and, most importantly, worked with me toward the elusive goal of good health.Where other doctors have just "passed me off" from one to another, or, just flat out have refused to treat me, Dr. Houghton has vowed to stick with me to find real answers. He is extremely intelligent and, he genuinely cares. I am grateful to have him as my doctor. Are these various agencies aware of the negative effects they cast upon themselves, by such public displays of condemnation toward Dr. Houghton? Do they think the public is blind to the fact that he has a remarkable allegiance of patients? Truth will win out.
