Dr. Scott Anthony Isbell, MD

Simply put, Dr Isbell is the worst doctor I have ever had. He will not listen to the patients needs. The more you see him, the worse he treats you. I urge anyone who is switching to Kaiser not to choose Dr. Isbell.

Scott treats patients like they are just a number. He does not try and establish a personal connection with his patients, and will not listen to any issues or suggestions that the patient might have.

I’m looking for a doctor since I’m new to town and looking at these reviews is alarming. I see every time a patient puts in a review, someone goes right in and gives 5 stars. Is this what we’ve become? Patients can’t give a true review without the doctors’ office or someone else changing? I will take my service elsewhere thank you.

We normally see the pediatrician in the same office. However we needed to see someone the same day, so we were scheduled with this doctor. My daughter has a long history of strep with hospital admittance and tonsils removed because of it. This also means she is quite traumatized and really fights anyone looking at her throat or even considering a strep swab. We've seen our fair share of doctors for strep, and honestly, he was hands down the most patient and kind of them all. He recognized her fears and got creative to make sure we left with a proper diagnosis. I may actually request to see him when she has strep symtpms again just because it was such a positive experience.

I have been going to Kaiser for many years and have had no issues until recently when I started seeing Dr. Isbell. His self esteem was so much that he made me feel very comfortable, which is not a position a doctor should put their client in. On top of that, he did not listen to anything I had to say. I do NOT recommend seeing this doctor.

I saw Dr. Isbel for the first time today. I found him to be thorough and personable. He carefully and meticulously covered each one of the prevention categories for my age group (diabetes screen, cholesterol, vaccines, bone density etc) which was a piece of the annual well patient exam.

This is the worst physician I have ever had in over 55 years. His ego is so great and his knowledge is lacking.
