I had an appalling experience with Dr. Jacob. If you are looking for an unmedicated birth he is not the right guy. He is very technology focused and even pushy, encouraging women to have unnecessary procedures for the sake of convenience to him. He doesn't know what delayed cord clamping actually entails and was extremely forceful with a mother who repeatedly asked him to stop giving her a non-emergency related vaginal exam-she was even pulling his hand away and he yelled at her. This is NOT the way women should be treated during labor.

Doctor Jacobs is by far mine and my husbands favorite doctor that we had visited at Valley Ob. He always came in did what he needed to do then sat with us, talked to us asked us questions, answered are questions and gave us great advice. He always made our appointments seemed well spent. He never seemed rushed no matter how busy the office was. He always looked through our chart before he came in and knew what we were having a boy, and knew everything that was going on with our pregnancy! He is awesome! I definitely recommend him to anyone! The nurses that called you back were always amazing also! The front desk staff were a little disappointing and the little Hispanic girl has major additude and makes you feel like she is too good to be talking to you but DO NOT let the people that don't see you medically ruin your experience here! Behind the scenes valley ob is amazing and Doctor Jacob is the best!

My favorite doctor at the clinic. He stayed up to date with my charts, has the best bedside manner and always acted like I was more than just a number. I wish I could make him my doctor...bummer about the way the practice is set up.
