Dr. Scott Jaffe, DO

Going to leave out my sad story and treatment and focus on the Dr, office and service. I've been a patient now going on six months and so far so good. Dr Jaffe and his wife operate a very nice, laid back family run type office and they make a great team. Personally and professionally better than I could've hoped for and I'm greatful to have found them. I try not to be a pain as I'm sure they deal with a lot every day. I try to be as pleasent and efficient for them as they have been for me. So thank you for the care, kind words and humour Dana and Dr Jaffe! Wishing you guys the best!

Worst customer service ever!!! These people are just hungry money making people. They take no care or interest at all in their patients. I had been going to Dr. Jaffe for approximately 10 years and decided to make his wife the receptionist/office manager who is the most rude person I have ever met in my entire life. Having been a longtime loyal patient, I continued to go anyway but it got to the point that her nastiness became unbearable. She’s fake, NOT nice, condescending, unaccommodating, and RUDE! Hopefully, Dr. Jaffe will see that this woman is going to ruin his career! There are better doctors/staff that deserve your time and money!

Environment is clean and organized. Wait Time is 5 min. Quality excellent, Customer Service front desk is very professional and kind. She is very accommodating to my scheduling needs. “I have never had such a great experience attending a physician 's office as with Dr. Jaffee and family. I referred a young girl who needed help and I would not trust just any doctor, she is very fragile, I needed a doctor I was positive would take excellent care of her and a staff that would treat her kindly. Thx and God Bless.! I had no Idea of survey, I am happy to write because i'm shy.” I took the time to express my opinion, it is necessary in this day and age, word of mouth is not enough. Dr jaffe and staff are not like the bad reviews say. I been seeing him for 1 year. I don't know what people want nowadays but I think he is the best Dr in this area.

I have been around the recovery community since 2015 and by far these are the most unprofessional and unknowledgeable people in this entire industry. I never complain, I am extremely easy going and in my entire life I have never written a nasty review about any service or doctor appointment I’ve ever been to. This was a terrible and humiliating experience for me. I went into my appointment and was asked to do a urine test. My urine was a false positive and when I kindly explained that I truly didn’t use, both Dr. Jaffee and his wife started accusing me of lying. I reiterated that honest to god I didn’t, and I would like another test done. False positives are extremely common and can be set off very easily. Ms. Jaffee said for another $10 I could get another pee done with a different cup. My pee came back negative like I said (if I was using a negative would literally be impossible with the same pee, so their cups are faulty), and not a single apology for the inconvenience was issued.… These are the kind of people that profit off of sick people who are trying to better their lives rather than treating people with love and understanding. It’s very clear when you first meet them that they do not care about their patients recovery considering not once were meetings mentioned nor was I ever asked about my cravings or anything personal. For an overpriced $110 per appointment I found this astounding. They have completely lost their vision, they are rude and don’t care because they know they are glorified drug dealers and people who are desperate will keep paying them. Not me, and hopefully not anyone who respects recovery and the industry. There are so many great resources to reach out to, full of loving professionals who are willing to help. These people just aren’t it. Also, if a Dr. can’t take care of himself or his own body what makes you think he can treat or take care of you?

I’ve been in addiction treatment since 2015 and even worked in the field for a year and this care by far was the most astounding lack of knowdlege and disrespect for a paying client I’ve ever experienced in my life. I never write reviews I’m one of the most laid back and understanding people but I am beyond disgusted by how these people are in practice and treating people with addictions who are trying to get their lives on track. I came in for my appointment today and my pee test was a false positive. I politely explained that honest to god I didn’t use, and I would like another chance to pee in a cup or it to be sent to a lab because I didn’t use. They got increasingly irritated by this and starting accusing me of getting high (mind you with the door open for other clients to hear with complete disrespect for privacy). Mrs. Jaffee asked for $10 for another cup which came to be negative which if I was using would be physically impossible. Dr. Jaffee then reluctantly gave me my… prescription without a single apology for the inconvenience or the false positive. He said he’s been in the industry for years, which is mind blowing due to the fact that false positives can be triggered so much and in this case it turned out to be THEIR faulty test. These are the kind of people who bank off of the opiate crisis and use it as a way to get a paycheck instead of saving lives. Not once has Dr. Jaffee asked anything about cravings, meetings, or anything personal. For $110 a visit he is one of the most uncaring and nonchalant physicians I’ve ever had. They have completely forgot their purpose and are so desensitized to drug addicts and the struggle that we go through trying to save our lives and get better. Thankfully I know a lot of people in the recovery community and I will not let this go unsaid. Please think twice before ever going here. There are so many doctors out there that care these people are just in it for the paycheck. And it’s really upsetting.
