Dr. Scott Louis Johnson, MD

So I've been unfortunate enough to have this man twice. One time I tore the meniscus in my knee and literally could not bear weight on even my toe. I was screaming in pain. He went into a good 5 minute speech about how he wouldn't give me anything beyond tylenol and ibuprofen because painkillers make people addicts, it ruins families, I'd get constipated, etc. I hadn't even asked for anything, except help in finding out what happened to my knee given my degree of pain. I went to an ortho urgent care the next day and luckily was given steroids to bring down the inflammation, which in turn helped the pain. THEN, I went in because I was stung by an insect that I am highly allergic to, my face was swelling, couldn't even open one eye, and waited an hour before he even came in my room. Last time that happened years ago, I was seen immediately and given the proper meds through an iv instantly to make sure the swelling didn't proceed to my throat. johnson sent me home with a prednisone… script. I will not ever go to this ER again.

I have had a few run-ins with Scott Johnson at the ER in Wyoming. He isn't thorough, he's a treat and street doctor minus the treating. I went in with severe abdominal pain and he tried to send me home because he couldn't find a cause for it. I told him I wasn't leaving with the pain I was experiencing and he said fine and just left me for hours. I had to ask for a different doctor who finally diagnosed me correctly. My daughter's strep throat was also misdiagnosed by this clown. Ask for a different doctor if you get him!
