Dr. Scott C Kipp

I just had my daughter about 2 months ago. She has had about 5 visits with Dr. Kipp. Dr. Kipp seems to be ok a u with children, but when it comes to their parents he is just so disrespectful. He makes me feel as if I have no idea what I am talking about.

When my son was 6 weeks old, he began coughing so bad that he would throw up every meal. I took him to see Dr. Kipp concerned that he may have caught RSV, since it was the season. Dr. Kipp made me feel like I was an idiot, like I had no idea what I was talking about being a first time mom and told me not to worry and that it was acid reflux and he would grow out of it. I continued to express my concern as he wasn't keeping any food down which could lead to dehydration, but he continued to brush it off and sent us on our way. Never even touched my son or did any examination. The next day I took my 6 week old son to the ER and it turned out he DID have RSV. We were there for 3 days on IV to prevent dehydration. We never went back to Dr. Kipp. Other deciding factors were his office staff were horrible and rude.

My child is use to personable doctors, doctors that thrive on their work, doctors that are patient and gentle...understanding and compassionate! He was all but that! He was cold as ice! He interrupted my every word! He insulted my every word! No personality! No professionalism!! Worse bedside manners, EVER! What a disgrace he is to doctors!

I have 3 children. My oldest are 16 and 12, therefore have many years experience with pediatricians. After just having a new baby we decided to go to Dr Kipp because his office is close to our home. Our other children see a Dr in Tempe, which is a drive when you're going as often as with a newborn. I have never experienced a more rude, condescending and frankly ignorant doctor in my life. He has the worst personality. I can't even believe he deals with children. He does not listen, he treats you as if you know nothing. It was the worst experience. I would rather drive 50 miles than go back to him. Do not choose this doctor!!!

Knows his stuff and is good with kids, but is very abrupt when the adult asks questions. His responses can be demeaning.

Office staff is incredibly rude
