Dr. Scott Henry Kuennen, MD

I never waited less than an hour for this Doctor. The last time I saw him, i was almost in tears. He was always very cold with me and seemed frustrated with my chronic medical problems.

I was blessed to come across such a fine doctor. He always takes the time to answer my questions. He never rushes, he's respectful and patient. Been with him for 3 yrs.

I have been going to Dr. Kuennen since he started practice in K.C. I trust him totally with my health needs He really cares about me.I trust his opinions He doesn't rush you out of his office Takes sufficient time with me Answers all my questions He is a GREAT Doctor.

Dr. Kuennen is very attentive and knowledgable. This is a great office. I have been to other offices where staff was rude and they never answer the phone causing you to leave numerous messages. There are about 7 doctors here so you can get an appt when you want if you're not picky. I have been to the office five times and never waited more than 10-15 mins. The person that gave the bad review must of gone on an extremely busy day. That doesn't make it right to give the office 1 star. If you sign up for a specific doctor, of course someone who came in after you might get called first. And for this same person to submit the same 1 star review two times is ridiculous. This is a great place. They are busy because people like the service and there is a lot of staff. When i call someone always answers quickly and forwards me to a nurse if i have questions.

I moved to Kansas City from Lawrence & just needed a primary care physician. Clay Platte Family Medicine is the worst! Long wait times, I am not even checked in till 15-20 min after my appointment time and usually much longer. I have waited up to 45 min after my appointment time to even be checked in. If you are even 10 min. late and call ahead they will NOT see you. But it is fine for them to be late. Their front desk staff are rude and interrupt when you are trying to talk, ask questions, & set up an appointment. They are clearly rushing you off the phone. If you need lab work you will wait a long time I waiting another 45 minutes to have blood drawn & people were called before me when they were seated after me. My nurse was even shocked. The doctors are great, but with the horrible customer service from setting up the appointment, to getting checked in, to the lab, and the LONG wait times you need an entire day to deal with these people. NOT WORTH IT. Do yourself a favor, save… yourself some time and find somewhere else to go. I am certain there are other good doctors in the Kansas City area that also have good staff and customer service.

My whole family loves him! In the middle of the city it is hard to find a doctor with a small town mentality towards his patients...we're glad we found Dr. Scott!

Dr. Kuennen is very knowledgeable about the current trends in medicine and has an excellent bedside manner. Most importantly, the clinic is so well run and organized that I never have problems making appts, obtaining lab results, scheduling referrals, or waiting more than 5 min for an appointment. Bravo to Clay Platte Family Medicine Clinic!
