Absolutely world class. From walking inti the office to my post-op visit Dr. Martin was, and is, a professional tried and true. He performed surgery on my shoulder and it’s as good as new. Made me feel welcome and made me smile throughout the visit. He’s fantastic at what he does and it shows.

I do not recommend Dr Martin. If you have a complex medical injury, Martin is not your guy. He has no bedside manner, no compassion whatsoever, no understanding of patient's pain and disability, and more. He failed to review my history and symptoms; didn't review the imaging he ordered, and instead talked about himself. This dr isn't interested in helping those who need help the most. Appt was a waste of time.

Don't trust this guy with your care. After seeing me for a good 4 minutes and deciding my labral tear was worthy of surgery he convinced me that I needed the surgery or would require a hip replacement due to advanced arthritis in the future. Unfortunately I did take his advice and underwent the surgery. 6 months later I have the same sharp pain in my hip and worse I am stiff and immobile. Probably because he REFUSES TO PRESCRIBE PHYSICAL THERAPY after surgery as he believes "stiff joints" will heal the best. Please do not choose Dr. Martin for your labral repair if you do indeed elect to undergo surgery.

Got hip surgery for torn labrum almost 3 years ago and still cannot run, am in pain every day and require Ibuprofen and heat/ice most days even after physical therapy and chiropractor appointments weekly for almost 2 years. Was promised to be able to walk out of hospital pain free, didn’t mention the opioids prescribed until right before surgery, and would have 2 hour waits for a 5 minute follow up appointment. Did not seem to care that I was not progressing, kept recommending more PT even though he “doesn’t believe in it” and prescribed countless steroid injections which only worked for a month when they were supposed to work up to 4 months. Do not go to Dr. Martin, find someone else who connects to their patients and doesn’t make empty promises.

I am now 6 mos post arthroscopy for 2 torn cartilages. Dr Martin has been excellent from start to finish. I feel so lucky to have had him as my surgeon. My knee feels normal.

Very pleasant and efficient office staff Dr Martin did a thorough exam and assessment, patiently explained everything, very thoughtful and caring. Surgery has been scheduled and I feel very relieved.

He was in the room for less than 5 min. then gave me his clinical trial info and left me with the fellow to enroll in his trial. Doesn’t care about patient care at all! All he cares is his research and fame . Too sad

Dr. Martin is a Top SURGEON. He knows his specialty. Dr. Martin is workaholic...He puts people back together. And they return to work in record time. Dr. Martin is the Best.

I have been dealing with a labral tear for about 5 years and used to have a really good othro surgeon, but he no longer “does hips”. Went to see Dr. Martin and felt like I didn’t even need to be in the exam room. He basically told me everyone over 40 has labral tears (totally minimizing my pain and challenge maintaining a physical lifestyle) and then proceeded to lament on the research finding of him and his staff. Never asked me specific questions about my physical activity or limitations. When I told him several rounds of PT have been unsuccessful in the past, he admonished this as I have never done HIS version of PT (again, didn’t even need to be in the room as he continued on about his research in the field). Will be going for a second opinion and not returning to see him.

Doctor Martin is an excellent doctor. My issue is with the office. When you call to schedule an appointment it goes directly to voicemail. So you leave a message and they have to call you back and you can't answer so you have to call them again. This constantly happens. I had to schedule with a different Doctor because my issue became urgent. The office still hasn't called me back and I told her I'd take anytime and that was Thursday.
