Dr. Scott Duncan Robertson, DO

Scott has been my primary doctor for 20+ years. I’m now about to turn 60 and have joined his MDVIP practice. I just went through my first Annual MDVIP Wellness tests and consultation. I've never had such a comprehensive exam!! I'm relatively healthy but have had a few physical and biological issues over the years and Scott is always ensuring to confirm how things I've had in the past might be correlated to something new that comes up. The time that he took with me to review the results of my test were incredible!! No rushing into the exam room to quickly do an exam and move on to the next patient. I spent over an hour with him going through every aspect of my health. I highlight recommend Scott and the MDVIP program. It's likely good for any aged person but I would even more highly recommend it for people 50+. It's great peace of mind to have all these tests done and know a few things in my day-to-day habits/rituals that I need to change to improve my overall health and… longevity.

Avoid! He is not helpful. Was rude and arrogant. He didn’t bother checking me out. All he did was send me for a Covid test. Horrible experience and will never go back to see him.

Scott has been my primary doctor for 20+ years. I’m 54 yes old and not the picture of health. Scott has told me how it is for many years. Tells me straight out to lose weight and get more exercise. The office staff know how to prioritize patients so you are sometimes told it might be a few days for an appointment. Once was hospitalized for severe dehydration and he was there to check on me first thing in the morning. I’d be hard pressed to find anybody else for my grown son and me

The one good thing about Dr. Robertson is his nurse Candace, who is friendly and returns phone calls in a timely manner. Robertson himself, to put it bluntly, is unprofessional and lazy at best. Saw him since my usual doctor was on vacation and was looking for what I thought was a simple solution to my problem. After the first medicine prescribed didn't work, i returned for a follow up, to a much more thorough check up (that was more than a 5 minute conversation--this should have been the first visit), and he informs me of a new medicine he will prescribe that should work better. I fully understand not every medicine will work for everybody, so I wasn't upset about getting something new, I just wanted something that works. I pick the new medicine up from my pharmacy and after getting home, find out it is the EXACT SAME MEDICINE THAT DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME. Guess what? He didn't pay attention or take notes from the first visit I had with him. So now, stuck with 2 of the… same ineffective medications, I spend MORE money on the one I was supposed to get. Upset, I called the office explaining how I can't get my money back from the unused, still sealed medicine and was told "too bad". Not expecting a check or anything for the cost, I would think 1 free visit in the future would be the right thing to do, especially since the doctor FULLY ADMITTED he screwed up (wouldn't apologize either) and had me spend money on the wrong/same medication from my prior visit (both were $40 each, in addition to the "right" medication which was an additional $60). Didn't care to make it right. I fear for anyone else who sees him with more serious medical ailments. Will NEVER be back again and would HIGHLY advise to avoid at all costs. Total waste of time and money.

Dr. Robertson has been our Doctor for Many Years. He and the Family Medical Center Of LaGrange are just the Best.

Caring, interested and involved in your care. I have been a patient of Dr. Robertson's for 14 years and cannot tell you what a great man he is. Care's deeply about his patients, not just going through the motions as so many doctors do these days.
