My daughter saw him for some time. She spent most of her appointment time, having him interrupt her, to talk about one of his sons. When I joined the sessions, I saw this firsthand. And nearly every one of the times he did this, it never related to what the appointment was about. Felt like we were paying him to listen to stories about his favorite son. It was abysmal.

My husband and I went to him seeking help in our relationship and he was phenomenal. Listened and criticized both parties and explained how we can alter our way of doing things. Very open and understanding. We have been closer than ever all thanks to Scott.

Dr Schaeffer spends too much time interrupting his patients to talk about himself or his family. He needs to listen to what his patients are saying and not make assumptions about them.
