Dr. Scott Schoenberger, MD

Dr. Sobel is wonderful and Dr. Schoenberger is nice. That's the only reason for my three star review. The office assistant named Nicole is the absolute worst! She was so rough, rude and snippy with my 89-year old mother that she nearly had her in tears. My mother is the sweetest woman in the world but she has a hard time hearing. Nicole bullied my mother and was so impatient that I began to see tears well up in my mothers eyes. After that, I refused to let Nicole talk to her and acted as go-between because Nicole was so vicious. She gave inaccurate information about eye vitamins--she said you had to have a prescription to purchase them. That was wrong. You can buy them at any drug store--same brand, exactly the same vitamin. Nicole gave us the wrong infirmation. I can't imagine that help is so hard to find that such fine doctors would employ such an incompetent, vile, inappropriate person.

This doctor is especially good at explaining the problems and offering various options helping to live with macular degeneration.
