Dr. Scott Ian Silas, MD

I went to Dr Silas for knee pain in 2023. I received a cortisone shot in my knee. It did not take right away, but after 30 days, I was doing great. 2 years later, I'm having trouble with the same knee. Finally my pcp authorized an MRI. I copied Dr Silas on the results, and the office called to ask if I wanted another cortisone shot. She said if you need a knee replacement, Dr. Silas does not do them. I wanted him to explain to me what my options are. I read the results, but I did not know what the follow up would be. There is a tear. I called my pcp and told him Dr. Silas can't help me. He hinted that he might be afraid with my obesity, to risk a positive outcome. So my doctor is going to give me another referral. I've lost 55lbs since 2023. Very frustrating, as I can barely walk. Rating is for 2023. Not how I feel today.

Did my surgery on my Achilles repair, This doctor is so caring and understanding spends alot of time with you and goes over your surgery and after surgery. He took pictures of my surgery and gave all the pics to me that showed what he did. He is a very caring doctor with good side bed manner. Never have to wait long when you get there to see his he is always on time.He spends alot of time with you. I recommend this doctor to anyone. I love him :) And his staff is caring to. Going to see on Nov 30th workmens comp will he help me or insurance company torn bicep

A true workman s compensation Dr. Don't let him fool you. If your patient has an injury you don't bow to insurance companies you help them. He will get his ten fold.

Knee operation went great. Ankle treatments also were helpful. I would recommend Dr. Silas

I had an exceptional experience

This doctor is for workmen comp, if workmen comp is paying him, he will not give you quality care. He will half do his job.

My daughter broke her knee cap...she is a little clumsy! Being a nurse I waited to make sure it just wasn't a sprain, she didn't complain of much pain, she just couldn't walk on it. We went to the ER and they referred us to Dr. Silas and her was soooo good with her. She is scared to death of doctors, nurses, but likes the dentist! Go figure?! Anyway, he helped her onto the table looked at her x rays and seemed concerned he explained that with the brace it had a chance of healing on its own but might need to have surgery if it didn't. After several f/u visits the brace came off and she had healed remarkable well. I was so relieved that surgery wasn't necessary. I was very impressed with the bedside manner with my daughter whom liked him very much and was never fearful. Thank You.

WAS NOT A NICE DOCTOR AT ALL. I FEEL HIS BEDSIDE MANOR NEEDS TO BE MORE UNDERSTANDING ON WHAT THE PATIENT IS GOING THROUGH AND MAYBE MORE CARING, DOCTOR WHO ASSUME WHAT IS WRONG INSTEAD OF FACTS,
