He was not taking my medical problem serious and kept making fun of me

Didn't really listen to me. Insisted I need to get an X-Ray and MRI. He just bought the "latest and greatest" MRI and wanted me to get X-Rays and MRI without even listening to me. I asked if I could go to a stand up MRI near my house, but he insisted I use the MRI at his own practice. I just left. He is focused on money, not caring about his patients.

I went to him for shoulder pain after I fell. He performed rotator cuff surgery after going for physical therapy ,which did not work. I am finally pain free, which is wonderful because the pain was awful and I haven't been able to sleep in months. Thank you for making me feel like me again.

Please with the expertise and level of care

Had to repeat surgery. He did not do a good job. Went to another doctor who didn't want to say it, but he had done a few repeats from Dr. Silverberg. Disgusting that others know about this but no way for patients to know other than these web sites.

I moved to Bethpage last year and heard great things about Dr Silverberg. He recently did my knee surgery. He is such a great doctor and actually wants you to get better. I don't agree with some of these reviews. Yes, I had to wait a little for some appointments, but he is so knowledgable and friendly and a pleasure to be a patient of!

No Dr silverberg is not warm and fuzzy but when I came to him I was not looking for a new best friend I was looking for an excellent orthopedic surgeon and that's what I got. I had a few questions before my surgery and left a message on the secretary's answering machine and he himself called me back that day and discussed all my concerns.

Waited 40 minutes to see Dr. Silverberg. The staff was very rude, but the waiting room was full so I thought they must know what they are doing. Wrong! Saw Dr. Silverberg, he was not friendly, very flat and I need to have knee surgery. He said it was a simple operation and he does this all the time. I took his confidence and the fact the waiting room was full to think he must be very good. Also, my family doc told me I would likely need knee surgery, so I figured this was my only option. My family doc told me it was an easy operation and anyone could do it. After surgery, I came back to Central Orthopedic Group for physical therapy. The physical therapists were very nice. I missed one session. After missing one session, I saw Dr. Silverberg and he was upset that I missed my one session. He wouldn't let it go that I missed my PT session. After another few follow-up visits, he informed me that I needed surgery on my knee again! He was so cold and rude and insinuated it was my fault!… Horrible bedside manner. I couldn't believe it. I went to 2 other surgeons and no one else wants to touch it, so I have to go back. They have so much business, they don't seem to care much at all.

I was fit in as a patient for a second opinion ( coming from that other big group O&C) for my son who's knee was swollen- We were to see Dr Silverberg- I was a little apprehensive after reading these reviews--but I have to tell you He was fantastic- yes his personality was a bit dry but he was impressive he explained everything in terms I could understand unlike O&C- we felt very comfortable with him from start to finish- Surgery was booked with him- I am staying with this group- Thank you Dr Silverberg

when they handed out personalities, they forgot to give one to this man. He does not even look at you when he is treating you! Front desk is also very rude and condescending.
