Dr. Scott David Simon, MD

Dr. Simon performed a routine outpatient vasectomy for me. Within a month, a very debilitating hydrocele formed in the surgical area. This of course is not a typical outcome for a vasectomy. When Dr. Simon examined the hydrocele, his feedback that "these things can happen" and that "lots of men live with hydroceles". He recommended that I wait six months to see if it would resolve itself. Two months after the vasectomy, the hydrocele seemed to be growing rapidly, and I called Dr. Simon's office in a panic to schedule a follow up. The receptionist took down my info, but no one from Dr. Simon's office returned my call or followed up or to check on my recovery. I ultimately had the hydrocele corrected by another, excellent, local urologist. This surgery was very traumatic and debilitating, resulting in 6 months of recovery and significant pain (which is typical for hydrocele removal). Nearly a year after my vasectomy, there has still been no follow up from Dr. Simon. This experience shows… that he at best does not really care about his patients, and that at worst, made a surgical error that caused the hydrocele.

I've had 2 kidney stones this year and both times Dr. Simon was able to get me in quickly and was able to rid of my stones quickly so I wouldn't have to suffer long. His staff is very kind and understanding. I would recommend Dr. Simon to my friends or family.

Went to see Dr. Simon for 2nd opinion about recurrent bladder infections. Was very easy to schedule my appointment, office staff was friendly, answered all of my questions, and got my records from previous doctor. When I arrived to the office I waited less than 10 minutes before the nurse called me back. She was very thorough in asking about my history and previous treatments. When I saw Dr. Simon he was friendly, explained everything very well, and he answered all of my questions. After this visit, I will definitely be continuing my care with Dr. Simon.
