Dr. Smith did cataract surgery on both my eyes, And I found him to be very professional and I am very pleased with the results. He has a great staff who will work with you and help you understand the issues with your eyes concerning diabetes without judgment.

If it was possible to give him a 0 I would but since that is not possible a 1 star. Before surgery he did not pay attention that I was allergic to Benzidine, I heard him tell the nurse that it would be ok and to go ahead and use it. My eye has been fuzzy and did nit heal appropriately. I will have to have more surgeries with another doctor. Would not recommend Dr. Smith's services to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for over 15 years. His care and concern for me immediately makes me feel at ease. He is extraordinarily knowledgable and always provides me with a thorough and detailed description instead of medical jargon like so many others. I am seen quickly in his office and his staff is so kind and helpful, as well. He has performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and my results were beautiful. My friends also highly praise him, and I continue to recommend him to everyone I know.

Dr. Smith did cataract surgery on one of my eyes. It was a terrible experience. It took over a month for my eye to even appear normal. He put the wrong lense in my eye. He also placed the lense over the sac instead of under. Now I have fuzzy and foggy vision in the eye. Needless to say, I did not let him do the other one. I had the exact opposite experience with another doctor. For my vision to be fixed, I will have to wear glasses for the rest of my life or pay for lasic surgery. I wrote him a letter about my experiences, and I never heard a word from him. Please don't let him operate on your eyes.

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith's for 10+ years after relocating to Waco. I see him at least four times a year for glaucoma issues. He and his staff are always courteous, prompt and Dr. Smith answers all of my questions. He has performed laser surgery on me twice related to glaucoma and it went well. When my pressure was not responding to traditional treatments that he managed, he immediately sent me to a specialist in Dallas. He is a dedicated physician who cares about his patients. I strongly recommend him.
