Refused to give me a cortisone shot stating that there is a slight, very small possibility that there is an infection in the shoulder and they can't risk that with the shot, so instead, what does he give me? A MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack. So instead of simply treating the affected area, we're just going to give you something that doesn't treat that specific area and also decreases your body's ability to fight infection. Also had the impression he didn't have the time to see me and was talking down to me the entire time. All of this, mind you, after refusing to set me up for an MRI because, they don't want to go wasting money. I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that money was more important than health.

Ridiculous set up. Broken ankle coming from ER, had to hop down long corridors, hop onto a step stool with an encyclopedia on it to get the xray taken . Then go to a n equipment rental place to get the actual cast. Very primitive system.

Dr Urch was fantastic. I interviewed two other doctors before I saw him and there was no doubt that he would do my surgery. After my surgery, he came by my hospital room twice a day and completely took ownership in my care. I recommend him to the highest degree.

Dr. Urch is my kind of doctor. He comes in, tells you what is wrong, what can be done, and what you can expect. He has always been friendly, outgoing, and personalble. Should I ever have another knee problem, I hope Dr. Urch is still in the area for me to see.

Urch and he gave me more excercises to do even though my knee was swollen up like a soft ball. Next apt he decided that my medial mensicus was torn and needed surgery. After the surgery he sent me back to work too soon after telling me contrary to DR S that I had a severly arthritic knee and I would never be normal. If you have torn ACL go there over 50 find another clinic. They are a sports medicine clinis whether they admit it or not
