Amazing Doctor. A doctor I actually like going to. Calm, reassuring, compassionate, takes his times to the talk to you, excellent bedside manner. It really makes a difference going to a doctor when they are so nice. Everyone in the office is also very nice.

Best Dr ever...hands down! Calm, reassuring, compassionate, takes his times to the talk to you, up on recent studies, excellent bedside manner. He was on call for my doctor's office. After meeting him I switched to his practice asap.

You are never able to speak with a doctor when you have questions and the nurses will only tell you to go to Labor and Delivery, where you will sent home because you didn't need to be there. The blood pressure cuffs are all suited to "large adult" so the readings are inaccurate if you're smaller and consequently my dangerously high blood pressure was missed (170/110). I went into the office with contractions at 24 weeks and was sent home and told nobody could see me. This is a dangerously incompetant office

My mother had Dr Walker for her hysterectomy when she had cervical cancer and couldn't recommend him highly enough, so when I became pregnant, he was the only one I wanted to see. Unfortunately, my first appointment with him was when he had to diagnose a miscarriage, but I've never seen a doctor as compassionate as he was when he had to break the news to me. He immediately started explaining why it wasn't my fault in a way I could actually believe, and gave me hope that next time would be different. We started a treatment plan that day including a referral to a specialist as well as a follow-up, and now that I've conceived again, I wouldn't go to anyone else

Pompous and doesn't seem to know what he's doing. Maybe burned out? Would not recommend.

I had a hysterectomy last year (2010) and he was very professional and took the time to educate me on the procedure and what to expect. His bedside manner is phenomenal, which helps in easing anxiety.

I went to Dr Walker for my seventh child! He was amazing, caring, understanding,and competent!

I had my first child under Dr. Walker's (and Julie's) care. They are both so wonderful. Dr. Walker isn't the kind of Dr. who answers your questions with one hand on the door knob (just trying to leave). I really got the feeling that they cared about me personally, and they have no issue with taking the time to answer all of your questions and deal with any concerns you have. Julie is HILARIOUS! I don't know if it's just me, but every time I saw her she had me cracking up (my husband too) and we still laugh about some of the random things she says. Both Julie and Dr. Walker really know their stuff too! VERY down to earth office staff, comfortable atmosphere, personal service... It really couldn't have been better.

I used to go to a different ob/gyn, but i always felt as if no one cared, they were terrible. After the birth of my first child i sought out better care. I have been with dr walker now for several years and he has always been prompt to appointments and very caring and helpful. After having two children through his practice, I always saw julie to follow up, and she is the sweetest most down to earth cnm I have ever had the pleasure of calling my doctor. I would definitely reccomend this practice to anyone who is looking for great care.

I was originally scheduled with Dr. Walker but due to weather/school closings had to reschedule and wound up taking what I could get, which was with Brenda Hagan, his Nurse Practitioner. I was ontime as a new patient, the wait was pretty long but the office is nice so it was no big deal. The nurse who took my intake information was very detailed and pleasant, and made me feel comfortable. Brenda was great. She took her time to listen to me, she repeated back to me what I'd said, she thoroughly reviewed the intake notes, and took her time to discuss with me what she believed was going on and how best to proceed. After "firing" another doctor at the separate offices next door (just do yourself a favor and do NOT go there...) I could not be happier to find this office. Brenda was also just as detail-oriented as her intake nurse, she made me feel very comfortable (and ladies, you know how OB/Gyn appts are like necessary evils!) and I feel like I finally found someone in town who is as… caring as they are qualified and experienced.
