Dr. Sean Michael Cahill, MD

I selected Dr Cahill as my PCP after researching doctors at Loyola - Burr Ridge. He has been condescending and rude on multiple occasions. I’ll be finding a new PCP and will never see him again.

He doesn’t care and does not want to deal with any medical problems. If you don’t have any, then I guess this is your type of doctor. Really a pitiful experience

Dr.Cahill did not take any of my concerns seriously. Probably because I am a young lady. He kept telling me that I should have seen a doctor before and now he doesn’t know why I’m having such symptoms. Very unhelpful and literally told me “This is a physical, we don’t expect you to come with this many complaints” as if I should go to an accountant to solve my issue????

Went to Dr Cahill with severe fatigue and sleep issues. Wanted my thyroid rechecked due to family history and previous low iron. Unfortunately Dr Cahill believes everyone is fatigued and did not take my concerns seriously. Basically I had to insist on a thyroid blood test check and another blood test for anemia. Seems like he doesn't believe young women CAN have health issues. Very rude and dismissive old man. Don't let this man convince you that your health issues aren't real concerns. No one drives an hour and asks to be stuck with a needle just because they find it fun!

Excellent treatment every visit!

Dr Cahill has been excellent in helping me through a very difficult time due to a personal injury. The appointments are extremely easy to schedule, I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be seen upon arrival and they always respond to messages quickly. The staff is very friendly as well.

Went in for a check up with Cahill. Explained my lack of energy, numbness In my arms, borderline high blood pressure and family history of heart disease. Cahill basically dismissed my concerns. Ordered some blood work, test came back with very low vitamin D and my cholesterol over 260. Still only prescribed me vitamin D. Well a week and a half later I had a heart attack and when I explained my visit with Cahill to the medical staff at CDH they where taken back by what I told them because everything I mentioned was a red flag. So all I kept being told by Cahill was to stop smoking. I'm alive today by luck. I had a totally blocked artery I would not suggest such poor medical incompetence and neglect to an enemy.

Dr. Cahill has the best beside manner and I feel like he truly cares about the well being of my children. He and his staff are always available to answer questions and make sure we are comfortable with whatever treatment we may be receiving. They are real people who understand real life.
