If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife, a severe stroke survivor who is completely wheelchair-bound and dependent on me for physical transfers, had a 10:00 AM appointment with Dr. Milligan today. We booked this appointment a full year ago. We arrived at the front desk at 9:50 AM, only to be told by the receptionist that we had to reschedule because we weren't there at 9:30 AM to do paperwork. I explained that I had already completed and submitted all the paperwork online in advance. The receptionist went back to ask Dr. Milligan twice, and he flat-out refused to see us. Getting my wife in and out of the car is incredibly physically demanding. To turn away a severely disabled new patient who waited a year—over an arbitrary 30-minute rule when the paperwork was already done—is beyond unprofessional. We recently moved back to Amarillo after 19 years in Waco, and I am appalled by the lack of specialty care here. It seems to give some doctors a "god complex" where they treat… patients as beneath them rather than people who need help. I have never been turned away from a doctor’s office in my life until today. Find a doctor who actually cares about their patients.

Dr. Milligan is an outstanding dr with incredible bedside manner and sympathy. He is very knowledgeable and gives thorough and thoughtful answers to patient questions. He seldom appears in a hurry to move to the next patient, which shows great care for his patients. It is rare to find a Dr who takes his time with his patients. Would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking neurological care.

Dre. Milligan takes the time to listen. He has provided treatments for my migraines over the years. I could not imagine working without his help. I can also call if I need something, and his staff is always there to help or relay the message to him.
