Dr. Sean Edward Rockett, MD

Due to debilitating pain in my left knee, I was referred to Dr. Sean Rockett for a total knee replacement. Three weeks post surgery I was back to “normal science” as the song goes. I was driving, grocery shopping, and even went to my hairdresser for a great cut! I had no need for crutches, walker nor cane. Sadly, an infection caused me to require a wash out procedure which was well tolerated. Feeling better now! Through it all, Dr. Rockett and his entire staff treated me with care, respect, concern, compassion and humor. I appreciate that. I highly recommend Dr. Rockett; he wants you to feel better.

His professional approach gave me a sense of competency and trust in his skill. Everything went smoothly every step of the way. The office staff was informative and very courteous. The surgical staff was amazing, attentive and explained everything as it was happening. My recuperation went flawlessly and I recently finished physical therapy so that I am now back to playing tennis and golf. The surgical suite was also state of the art!

I had arthritis in both knees for years. Finally , upon recommendation from my PCP, I made an appointment with Dr. Sean Rockett. I was most impressed by his kindness and professionalism. The procedure was successful… the recovery difficult but I did exactly as I was instructed to do. About three months later my right knee was “reborn”. No pain, much greater flexibility and no more “goat eating tin cans” sound. My follow up care with Dr Rockett was supportive and always encouraging. Fifteen months ago I determined I needed my left knee replaced. Again, Dr Rockett was exceptional in his pre-operative care through to yesterday when I had my 14 month follow up. Dr. Rockett has been my trusted orthopedic doctor and surgeon for close to 20 years and his expertise is beyond measure. Some artists choose paint, clay or stone as their medium of choice. For Dr. Rockett, it's bone, tendons and cartilage, and he is a master of his trade. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my '20s, I've required more surgeries than I count to repair my shoulders, hips and knees. Most recently, after exhausting all other options, I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Rockett two months ago due to bone on bone arthritis. It has been nothing short of life changing. At 58, I had resigned myself to living a physically limited life. Now that I can walk comfortably again, I'm planning trips, hiking and dusting off my bike. Dr. Rockett has given me much more than my mobility back -- he's given me hope for the future. He's also an all-around good guy who is a pleasure to work with. I can't imagine a procedure going any smoother than my recent knee surgery. Thanks to Dr. Rockett for his expertise in restoring my pain-free mobility. His pre-op information was right on the money with my post-op recovery. In fact, I experienced virtually no pain the evening after the procedure. I never needed to take a pain med and was up and walking without crutches a day or so later. My only regret is that I didn't have the surgery earlier! In addition, the office staff could not have been more considerate and efficient. I barely waited a minute or so prior to an appointment. The DMV should learn how a well-run office operates from these professionals! Lastly, the operating facility is immaculate, spacious, and very conveniently located. Like Dr. Rockett and the office staff, the surgical staff is equally worthy of praise for their kindness and care. An overall exceptional medical experience!

After many months of pain, multiple doctors and getting no where fast, I decided to make an appointment with Dr Rockett. After my first visit, he knew immediately what my issue was (RC and Bicep tear). Within weeks, I had my MRI, and Operation. Fantastic facilities and Staff and great outcome. I’m 12 weeks into my rehabilitation and feel great. Thank you for your expertise and guidance.

After a long period of pain and alternative treatments I finally decided to put my fear aside and move forward with a hip replacement. Dr. Rockett and his staff explained the procedure fully. I opted for day surgery, went in to the hospital at 7 am was back home at 4:30 pm. I was shocked at how manageable my discomfort was. After 10 days I was walking without any crutch and had no need for Tylenol. All I can say is that I wish I had my surgery sooner. From day 1 Dr. Rockett was a caring professional who listened intently and responded appropriately. His explanations were thorough, reassuring, and spot on. He never rushed our visits and sought questions to ensure my needs were being met. He has an excellent sense of humor and bedside manner. His rich knowledge base instilled a sense of confidence in me. Two weeks out, I am progressing nicely and anticipate a full recovery in the coming months. The team in his office and at the hospital were thoroughly knowledgeable but also warm and kind in their demeanor. I would highly recommend Dr. Rockett to anyone needing orthopedic care/surgery!

I had an appointment scheduled for today in the Natick office with Dr. Rockett and the staff was excellent and went by the covid-19 standards very well. Staff was courteous and very friendly. As far as Dr Rockett goes, this is the first orthopedic MD that I Have seen to have such a great personality and showed he is an expert in the field. I was impressed with his calm and his knowledge and would recommend lots to see him. I had same issue with my left shoulder a few years ago and it was never quite diagnosed and assisted in this way.
