Dr. Sean Shahriar Saedi, MD

Dr Saedi is the most thorough, professional, caring doctor I have ever had.

I was looking for a new primary care physician so I met with him. He proceeded to make several rude and barbed comments throughout the interview. He contracted my asthma doctor's recommendations, and mocked me at several points. When I asked about the side effects of a new medication he recommended, he said, "It will help you live longer." How is that supposed to be helpful when I had read about nasty side effects. I still need to find a new PC, but I won't go back to be humiliated by him.

He listens and values my opinions.

I do not recommend anyone to go to this medical doctor. He does not have a good grasp of communication skills and is known to have frequent staff turnovers and the service has been spiraling down within the last 2 years now. The office has many elderly patients who has been skipped over just because they did not hear the staff call them from the waiting room resulting in a unreasonably long wait in the waiting room. Healow online portal is not used by Dr Saedi or his staff.

I saw this doctor last week Wednesday. This doctor suggested I use baby powder on my inner upper thighs to manage itching. I then said that I heard that baby powder causes cancer. This doctor then asked if I have a vagina; I did not answer; and he repeated to asked me again if I have a vagina and again I did not answer. I am a male 71 years of age. His cultural behavior as a doctor is disgusting and annoyed me a lot.

I have seen Dr. Saedi for 10 years and he is by far the most informed, educated doctor I have ever seen. He follows current research and will offer suggestions that is based on your profile and current best medical practice. Only caveat is that his schedule is very full.

Dr. Saedi can fool you. He can be personable but don't base your judgment of him as a doctor on his personality! I suffered permanent vision loss because of his carelessness in prescribing medication . I have a history of low to low-normal blood pressure, yet he prescribed high blood pressure medicine for me. He did not take time to review my medical history! Unfortunately, I have the type of glaucoma (Normal Tension) that is caused by low blood pressure. Lowering my blood pressure further caused even less blood and oxygen to reach my eyes. I will live with the resulting damage for the rest of my life.

No preventive care. Take test and write prescriptions. Doesn't listen, just doubts everything you say if it doesn't involve increasing your prescription.

Good medical knowledge and explains things well.

I like a doctor that I can talk to and just listen to what he says. I like a doctor who I can discuss his diagnosis without him taking the attitude that "I am the doctor, do what I say!" He listens to your thoughts about your condition. Plus, he will get to the bottom of what is wrong even if it means consulting other doctors. Dr. Saedi is a caring doctor. He calls me a 6:30 AM to discuss his findings the day after labs or other test results.
