I was scheduled for a full body check and he was not very thorough. Seemed rushed and disregarded any pain I was in from a biopsy that he took. Said I should know what to expect as I have been through this before and blew off my pain tolerance. So rude. Terrible terrible bedside manner. Feels like he has some place to be. Doesn’t even engage in any sort of small talk. Bad experience overall! Need to find a new doc!

Very interested in avoiding legal claims according to his verbal statements and not very interested in the welfare the patient.

I really wanted to trust and believe in Dr. Desai and his practice, as they were highly recommend. However, I was seen for multiple office visits/follow up appointments (five times to be exact) over the course of a year for an unhealing sore on my chin. After a poorly preformed biopsy (a shave biopsy at my initial appointment, no retesting at any point, when I learned by seeking a second opinion, a punch biopsy was the better care choice that would have given a much more accurate diagnosis/pathology), I was simply given various creams and prescriptions with the promise that it was no big deal and would heal soon. Thankfully I sought a second opinion. I had Basal Cell Carcinoma (that an intern was able to visually tell before even taking a biopsy) that was growing for all this time because of a missed diagnosis. One MOHS surgery from a fantastic doctor later, I'm thankful the absurd wasted time on creams and pills didn't have a major impact on my health. Myedic

Took my daughter for a consultation. Doc walks in a with a scowl, bedside manners totally lacking. His manner of discussing the condition wasn't just matter of fact but demeaning. All this, considering that the parent of the pt, an MD. Dont waste your time, there are excellent derm doctors in Plano. Only reason we went there was because of the proximity. Wish I had read other reviews beforehand.
