Dr. Semil Bipin Mehta, MD

Dr Mehta is one of the rudest doctors in the Chicago area and I would urge everyone to find a different pulomonologist. Dr Mehta told my 80 year old mother who had been going to him for 20 years to find a different doctor because she was asking to many questions about a treatment that he recommended. She was having side effects and now at this stage of her life he expects her to find a different doctor. The complete lack of empathy and caring is unexcusable. Health care is not supposed to be convenient for the doctor. They are supposed to treat there patients, especially the ones that have the most questions and concerns.

First started seeing him after a scary test result with my other doctor. Dr. Mehta and the staff reassured me, instructed me, and helped me through some heavy-duty testing. Now I go every year and feel very comfortable knowing I am under his care. His nurse-practitioner is excellent, too.

Dr. Mehta has a great bedside manor. Very reassuring in his diagnosis. You know when you leave the office that you made a good choice for a critical care or pulmonary specialist.
