My knee would swell up with any hard activity. Bader said that arthroscopic surgery would not help cure my problem -arthritis under the knee cap - only a full knee replacement would suffice. Gave me cortisone shot, made next appt for 3 months away. I only found out a month later that he doesn't do full knee replacements, only partials. Wasted a month and a half of my time

I patiently waited an hour( or more) to be seen , then after the visit / discussion the doctor just went out and closed the door. I was left alone in the room waiting for the after visit summary hand out. I patiently waited again for another 30minutes or more. Have I not open the door and was seen by medical asst. from outside I would have been there forever waiting for someone to come in and tell me that I am cleared to go home. He could have just left the door open as he exits signaling me that I can leave.The doctor can be very professional in discussing medical condition but seem to be so cold and without sympathy. I also felt during this visit I was not given an option for the plan of care and he didnt want to do anything maybe bec I am a medicaid patient. Maybe I am just sensitive, but this is my subjective experience of his bedside manner...I have a small torn meniscus and the sx were really really bad.Oftentimes it gets so swollen and Im unable to walk or move the leg. I sleep… and wake up with too much pain. It does makes sense to me he recommended PT, but from what I understood and remember he would rather give me steroid shots than do arthroscopy if PT didnt help.Its like putting a band aid to the wound and not healing the wound itself. I am a nurse amd I understand these stuff. If I was judged because I am a medicaid pt at this time, I hope physicians would know that they just dont know what personal issues a person has to be in this situation,only God can judge.

We reached out to Dr. Bader through email with a specific inquiry regarding the Bear Implant ACL repair procedure, as our situation was time-sensitive, and we needed the surgery completed within a 51-day timeframe. In our email communication, we made it clear that our insurance was through Kaiser, and we would be covering the costs out of our own pockets. At no point during this initial correspondence did Dr. Bader disclose that he had no prior experience performing this procedure on any patients. It was only during our consultation that he informed us of his lack of experience in this particular surgical technique. Subsequently, we were billed $587 by his office, which has now been reduced to $352 after we escalated the issue. It's disheartening to discover that a surgeon with 18 years of experience would charge patients for consultations under misleading circumstances. We're relieved that we didn't select him as our surgeon, given his unethical practice of charging for consultations… in which he lacks expertise.

Did a rotator cuff surgery. A1 services. Definitely recommend!

Dr Bader is very patient and very knowledgeable in his field. He takes his time with explaining answers to all your questions. He doesn’t rush his visits and you feel well informed on your care plan. I would recommend his office if you are ever in need of an orthopedic physician.

I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Bader for a shoulder injury. Everything from surgery to follow up visits have been top notch. He is a genuine nice Doctor who cares about his patients. His staff has been amazing as well. I have had many injuries and surgeries over the years and Dr. Bader is the best by far.

After a knee started acting up, I tried several times to figure it out with other doctors. Finally, Dr. Semon Bader noticed a chunk of rogue cartilage. He carefully removed it, and repaired a torn meniscus while rummaging around in there. Surgery was minimally invasive, and pain was almost nonexistent. My knee is back in action and I no longer stress about sudden pain when things pop out of place. One note: make sure that your insurance covers the physical therapy there, or make arrangements in advance. I wound up having to wait almost two months to get started with a professional. I managed to figure out my own PT, but it stressed my wife and mother, both. Dr. Bader is a fabulous doctor, and I would definitely seek out his services again. He finally solved my problem!
