Dr. Sepideh Mirfakhraie, MD

I came in with a 101-degree fever and a severe cough that hurt my chest. I expected Dr. Sepi to evaluate my symptoms, but she spent no more than 5 minutes evaluating me. She had told me that I just had fever symptoms and could go home—she did not look at my medical history to look my history of asthma or the previous medications I had taken when I had such severe symptoms. So, she sent me home with no medications and my fever and cough got worse overnight. Due to my asthma, I began having shortness of breath that kept me up the entire night, the following day I went to a doctor who prescribed me medications to deal with the cough, shortness of breath, and fever and I soon became better. Dr. Sepi did none of that and instead negatively affected my respiratory health because she did not take her time to look at my medical history or even ask me questions regarding my illness, she simply looked at my temperature, told me I have flu symptoms and told me to go home and rest. She did… absolutely nothing to evaluated my well-being, my breathing conditions, etc. She, for lack of a better word, threatened my health by not giving me the proper care in light of my conditions.

Dr. Mirfakhraie is very knowledgable and has great bedside manners.
