Dr. Serge Ernest Cayemitte, MD

Doctor is very rude and inattentive. I made an appointment for the first thing in the morning and he about two hours late. While I was waiting, I was assuming someone would bring me to the doctor, nope, the doctor just yells from the closed door for the next patient. When I didn't hear (or really expect) his yelling, he finally got up opened the door and says"You didn't here me calling?" He doesn't really do a physical exam, just asks if you have any issues, I said "yes" I wanted you to look at XYZ..., he just says, "exercise and sleep more". Then he asks if I want blood work, given the dirtiness of the office, I decline, and make an appointment for a different doctor at a different office.

The worst experience I have ever had at a Doctors office in my life. The Dr was unkind and did not seem to care. My wife and I also could not understand the Dr at all and would not answer our questions or explain anything to us. Do not go to this Doctor.

This doctor talks to you like he owns you, he does not have any privacy , he is yelling at those other patients in front of everyone in the office, he always comes late, he's rude , his wife is ugly and as an office manager she is just sitting in the office and not doing anything. The only good things about the office is the staff is very nice Emanuel and Rose are too nice they do not belong in this crapy place they are so caring.

My first impression was the rude and almost hostile manner of the office staff, i.e. cold, inattentive, and dismissive. Meeting the Dr. for the first time I was shocked at his lack of basic conduct skills (no greeting, no eye contact, rushed and dismissed.) If this appeals to you, make an appointment and be prepared to feel worse leaving than when you arrived!

I can't wait to change this doctor. The wait is hours, when you call the office they have you on hold for such a long period of time to where I have to hang up an call them back because the phone assistant forgot, and when you do see the doctor he doesn't seems concerned or interested in providing the service. I have to tell him what I need done which is ridiculous.

I have been to this office. First, whether you have an appointment or not, they make you sign in on stick-it note paper with numbers in the corner. You will not be seen by your appointment time. Either they will go by the first come number system of theirs, or they decide on their own who goes when. Angelina is the worst of the staff. I have witnessed her put a patients chart( who was up to be called next )on the bottom of the pile to make that person wait longer. Walk-ins have gone in before appointment people as it seemes they are always a friend or if a patients brings them food from a near by McDonalds, they get in ahead of others. Totally unprofessional. The staff is always arguing with each other. Another one of the staff, a small pretty Hatian female, also has a nasty attitude. She will argue over the phone with patients while having them on speaker so the whole office hears it including the waiting patients. The office is old, dirty, and just to warn anyone who might still go,… many of the patients are on welfare/medicade and most times there are small children running around the waiting rooms.The doctor is average at best. He is Hatian and it may be hard for you to fully understand what he is saying, unless you speak creoal. He does not prescribe certain pain medications so thankfully about half of his patients have left. They were the ones lurking around the parking lot as someone else pointed out. Overall, Dr. Cayemitte is a decent doctor but with the aweful staff of his, waiting times that can and have run into hours, staff deciding who goes in when ( speaking up will only make them angrier at you, and you'll be put last for as long as you go~ if you decide to speak up keep this in mind!), only 7 parking spaces (the staff all park in this small lot) so you most likely have to park and walk across the road, it's just not worth it. Find someone else. It is as bad as described by all.

Angelica seems to run the office and if you are too white, she will make you wait 1 - 2 hours to see the doctor. She is nasty and yells at the other staff in the office. The other two girls and the young man that works there are wonderful.

This doctor acts like he could care less. He actually told me I didn't have to visit often as he only get $15 from Medicaid! Outrageous. The staff, which is quite young,is with only one exception the rudest bunch of young people I have ever had the unpleasant task of encountering. The doctor's wife, who maintains an office here, is the ONLY reason I have stayed. She is kind, compassionate and caring, so I figure if the doctor married her, he must have something going for him. The wait time is ridiculous. The doctor has made snap diagnoses which I have been told by a hospital staff memter were incorrect. It is too much trouble to change doctors right now.

I have a 4 year old daughter who I had to take for a school physical. Shes scared of needles. And instead of the nurses being nice and friendly came in 3 full to pin down my daughter. They forcibly held her down while she screamed and they drew blood. This place is ridiculous. Also, all the nurses were fighting with eachother and slamming doors and calling eachother names in front of all the patients. The doctor did not get to the office until 11 am. And we had an 8 am appt. Definately should have his license to practice revoked..!

I have a legitimate medical problem that requires pain medication. I have compressed and herniated discs in my neck. I was injured on the job and my pain has been constant since then. I just got insurance from my job and went to see Dr. Cayemitte because he was located near my job and home. First, my appointment was messed up twice (wrong day, wrong time) I missed two hours of work because of the mix-up. I went back with my MRI images, orthopedic doctor's report and interpretation of the films to show Dr. Cayemitte my condition. The first thing the nurse's assistant told me-"He's not going to give you pain medication." When I finally went in to see the doctor, he was not only rude, but mumbled his questions so I had difficulty understanding him. When I asked him to repeat himself, he spoke to me like I was a child. He asked me if I went to Pain Management, I told him yes; then I told him what kind of medication they had prescribed for me. He retorts "I'M NOT GIVING YOU ANY… PAIN MEDICATION!" I thought his question was about the Pain Management doctor and I was answering the question. Yet his office had a line of JUNKIES outside when I arrived and people hanging around the waiting room and in the parking lot who are clearly drug addicts and pill abusers. This is a clear cut case of someone with a TRUE medical condition cannot get the proper medication to ease their pain. He's not writing pain medication prescriptions anymore-YEAH RIGHT!! All those people weren't there for antibiotics (although some should have been) This makes me so mad, it's a shame.
