Dr. Sergio Walters Larach, MD

He treated me for a perirectal abscess...my fever was over 103 and I felt awful but he made me feel even worse! He injected the area with lidocaine to numb it but didn’t wait for the area to become numb before slicing it open with a scalpel and sticking a suction catheter in it! I screamed it hurt soooo bad! I’m normally able to tolerate pain but this made me cry so hard! My husband heard me crying out all the way out in the waiting area. The nurse asked “do you want to book her for surgery?” He said “yes, but it can wait until next week.” Then he left the room and didn’t say a word to me. The nurse was very kind and helped me off the table which was literally drenched with my tears and sweat...I pulled scraps of the table paper off the front of my clothes. I was shaking like a leaf and felt like I’d been assaulted! When I left, they wanted to book me for surgery in a week and I said no way, went home and called my insurance company. I tearfully described my experience and begged them… to help me find another doctor to go to to finish treating the abscess! They did and the next doctor was very kind and considerate...totally different experience. I was still sick, running a fever, the abscess was coming back but this second doctor treated me with respect and kindness; I was immediately booked for surgery and the abscess was treated well and never came back. This happened years ago when he was with the CRC in Orlando. I have NEVER forgotten this experience and how it made me feel. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy!

After my colon surgery i went to see Dr Larach, he is the most caring ans such a sweet person, God has blessed him , to think that one day he will retire is awful. I have been followong up with him for 3 years now and hes an A in my book. The staff are very nice and make u feel at home. I wouldnt change this Dr or office for anyother????????????????

Maybe he has changed his procedure in the last 26 years since I had Hemorrhiodectomy in 1985. But at that time the words rough and crude, with a zero patent comfort concern are the words to describe him after what I went through at the time.I received zero prop info, IE (Colin Clean Out) I went into this surgery with no instructions at all, shame on me for being ignorant, there was no Internet for me at that time. But all that should be the Doctors responsible to tell you what to do. After being home for one day I needed to move my bowels and I could not pass anything. So I went back to his office were he (without hesitation) did a digital examination, and in a very blas way said, Youre impacted, the nurse will give you one or two Fleet Enemas. Plain was unbearable to the brink of passing out. 25 years latter, and after changing me diet I have never been bound up anymore, but the Hemorrhoids are back just the same. So dont believe a word they say.Good Luck

Working in the health care field I highly recommend Dr. Larach. I had an appointment on Thursday, surgery on Monday, post op day one and I feel good. He is friendly and answered all of my questions. I am so pleased to with my surgery. Nothing but praise to him and his staff.

I travel over two and a half hours one way to see Dr Larach and will continue to do so as needed because he is the most caring physician I have ever had. I am a healthcare administrator and have to say in my many years is the profession he is the kindest most compassionate physician out there... I just wish he could be my everything doctor...
