Dr. Sergio Fernando Rovner, MD

The office staff is not trained properly and as such there are long hold times and appointments that are never followed up on. The Dr. himself is only there for a short amount of time and has a bad bedside manner.

Office staff are completely incompetent. They never answer their phones or correctly process paperwork. Why are they still employed? This is the worst office staff situation I have encountered.

So difficult to contact office wait time is more than 1 hour unfortunetly we need to wait.. the one star is so that I can summit review : (

THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ESPECIALLY THE GIRLS UP AT THE FRONT DESK. THEY ALL NEED TO BE REPLACED. I NEEDED THE DRS. APPROVAL WITH THE INSURANCE SO I CAN GET MY MEDICATIONS. I CALLED TWO MONTHS STRAIGHT AND ALL GOT WAS THE RUNAROUND. I EVEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE OFFICER MANAGER AND RIGHT AWAY THE GIRL TOLD ME THAT SHE WASN’T IN. I GAVE UP AND STOPPED CALLING. HERE WE ARE THREE MONTHS IN AND I NEVER GOT MY MEDICATIONS. ONE OF THEM WAS AND INJECTION I NEEDED TO TAKE ONCE A WEEK. I HAVE TYPE 2 DIABETES. THESE GIRLS DON’T HAVE EMPATHY AT ALL SO THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO FIND A DIFFERENT LINE OF WORK. THEY DON’T CARE FOR THE PATIENTS. I RATE THIS OFFICE 0 STARS. THIS OFFICE SHOULD BE CLOSED…

I have been trying to reach the manager, Ms. Gomez and she doesn't answer her phone and hasn't returned my calls even though I have left my telephone number. Also, the staff at the front desk is very unprofessional and at my last appointment it took me one hour to register and then another hour to see the doctor. Then the doctor doesn't even have my lab results and he indicated he would call me with the lab results and he never has. Due to the circumstances, I will be looking for a new endocrinologist. I don't recommend this healthcare provider.

I have been with Dr. Rovner for almost 17 years and he is a great doctor. He also has an excellent assistant. The front desk has improved over the past year I only waited about ten minutes.
