Dr. Servet Muhittin Satir, DO

After a horrible experience and a bruise left on my wife's hand by Satir's rude and very unprofessional phlebotomist, my wife decided to seek another family physician for herself. The very next day after my wife requested her medical records transfered, we received 3 rude letters from his office in the mailbox along with my wife and some of my son's medical records without having signed for them. She did not request our records to be mailed to our home which if delivered to the wrong address could be a direct Hippa violation had our records been accessed without our permission. She also did not request our records to be mailed at all. My son and myself did not transfer to another doctor and did not plan on leaving Satir's care. I am a cancer survivor and my son is only 6 years old with medical issues as well. Servit took it upon himself to mail us these records and sent rude letters stating he will no longer provide care for all 3 of us. He also falsely stated in the letters to… my son and I that we chose to change doctors and agrees with our decision. This is a total unprofessional lie! My wife is the only one that made that decision for herself only. Servit, you are the most unprofessional medical doctor I have ever come across and I hope you sleep well at night knowing you lied and sent our medical records to our home without our permission. You have posts on your walls stating you provide Christian based care and you have a painting of Jesus Christ in your waiting area. Well may Jesus forgive you for the way you just treated our family. In a time of need you turned your back on a military veteran, a cancer survivor, a diabetic, and a minor. I hope your proud of yourself.

Dr Satir is a very companionate and has great bedside manners towards his patients.

Dr. Satir seems to be one of the most dedicated to personal care in this area. I never feel rushed through an appointment even though he has numerous patients to see.Some of the office practices seem a bit hard line to me but with the current state of health care in general, I understand where they are coming from on most of these.I would definitely recommend Dr. Satir to others.
