Absolutely the BEST doctor of any kind! Dr. Eberhardt is personable, capable, and highly accommodating. He came highly recommended when my husband tore his Achilles tendon. We were so impressed with him personally and professionally that I took my elderly mother to see him with her foot problems. He provided honest and candid advise for a woman in her 80s, which we really appreciated and had not experienced before. He has already performed one of my bunion surgeries and my next is scheduled in a few months. With a household like ours with various feet and ankle problems, he has been a godsend! Now, with that being said, follow your doctor’s orders pre and post op! Both he and you have put in hours and hours of time, effort, and expense in pre, actual, and post surgery. He reprimanded me once for going bootless several days before I was advised. He was right to do so. That stupid decision on my part added weeks to my recovery and resulted in 2 wasted office visits that directly… affected Dr. Eberhardt. I have learned my lesson the first time around and will not make that same mistake the second time. If he becomes somewhat miffed because you didn’t follow directions, it is completely understandable. If you want to be healed and made whole, you cannot go wrong with this doctor. Do as he advises, follow the straight and narrow path, and soon you will be skipping off into your future.

On my initial visit we talked, and his response was "I've dealt with people like you before". I just asked a lot of questions, and have no idea what he meant. Yes I smoke and no I didn't follow post-surgery instructions. Yes, my fault. BUT his attitude is demeaning and aggressive. My initial visit was a nightmare. I have never had a doctor talk to me like that.

Dr. Eberhardt is a class act and asset to the WVU Hospital. He is very knowledgeable and personable, which shows with his positive interactions during visits. Dr. Eberhardt cares about improving the quality of life as he completed a ankle repair for me. With numerous good surgeons around the Tri-State area, Dr. Eberhardt is truly a hidden gem for WVU Hospitals. Thank you Dr. Eberhardt for the fantastic care you have provided me.

I have bad feet (diabetic w issues) and need a good podiatrist. I've been searching for a good doc I can have a continuing relationship with. After just one visit, I feel strongly that I am in good hands here. Dr. Eberhardt came across as caring, easy to talk to, highly competent and honest and direct in his assessments. Just the ticket for me. I need to keep these feet for a few more years. Real happy to have found him. I'd tried a few others and never quite felt comfortable until now.
