Dr. Seth Finkelstein, MD

I have to share how great my experience has been with Dr. Seth Finkelstein. Being in a new city, it is almost impossible to know which doctors are good and which doctors are not, and I can confidently say I made the right choice with Dr. Finkelstein. He is extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and that he genuinely cares for my health and wellbeing and I felt safe and taken care of. He took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me thoughtful answers with kindness and never with attitude as many other doctors sometimes do. He is always reachable via email and responding super quick in an inconvenient hours: sometimes at 11pm! sometimes on the weekends as well! This is exceptional! Dr. Finkelstein did all my exams quick and fast and everything was explained before it was done. The nurse is in his office is extremely friendly and efficient and made sure to follow up to see if I feel any better. Also very important- appointments are easy to… get and they manage you in the busy schedule. For me is important to know I don't have to wait weeks and months to see my doctor if needed. Highly recommend!

Was very thorough and confident in explaining why I needed surgery, took his time with me,his staff is warm and caring both before and after surgery and still continue to be to this day. It is a privilege to have him as my doctor.

He is confident and very knowledgeable about his work and his field. He takes the time to answer questions and recommend care and treatment based on your history and individual needs. I have been a patient of his for years and have undergone surgical procedures with him, and I was made to feel comfortable and very much at ease. He is direct and serious, because he knows what he is doing and wants to make his patients happy and healthy as soon as possible. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who really knows what they are doing.

Please do not use this doctor, save yourself heartache and what should be a joyous occasion into a nightmare. He delivered our son then called the department of social services to come to our home the day we left the hospital. This Dr. is a nightmare. He also refused to complete my post opt after my delivery. if I could complete the survey my way he would be minus 5 stars.

I've been with Seth since "2006" and I haven't had any problems with him. He's been very caring.

Dr. Finkelstein left his office in Brooklyn and rushed into the Manhattan office to tend to me although I was his only patient there that day. I felt more comfortable there. That shows me caring, dependability and assurance. He is straightforward and gives you health options. I found it very helpful that he talks to you, answers questions, research your concerns, then sends an email with the answers. Yes, he responds to emails. Most important, he listens and understands. I do not feel rushed, and will see him again. He has qualities I look for in my doctors. I read reviews before selecting doctors. If my review helps you to make a decision to select him, I am happy to have helped.

I went to a Doctor that cares about the patients, who listens, who spends time with the patients, who has no ego, and can think out of the box. If your looking for a Neurologist that specializes in strokes......look no further. Their Dept at MGH is rated in the top 3 in the US, so that means the world. This Doctor gave me his cell number to follow up......when does that happen in medicine.

I know that it's wired to say but I miss my pregnancy. Dr Finkelstein was my Dr during these long process and delivered my beautiful baby girl. He made this very easy to do at least from the medical point of view. I trusted him 100%, he is very knowledgeable, straight forward, friendly and patient. I will highly recommend him to everybody!

I can honestly say that I will miss dr finkelstein.he delivered my healthy baby girl.if you are lookin at him as an option you will not regret your decision if you pick him.he would always get straight to the point and I never had to wait more than 20mins to be seen.he is friendly , funny , and knowledgable . :)

It's a business that you are walking into. You are treated as a part to be examined, diagnosed and then charged. If you ladies are looking for somewhere to be treated like a lady, look elsewhere. If you don't mind being treated like an insignificant body part to be prodded around with quickly and abruptly, then go on right ahead.
