Was wonderful visiting the taking the time to explain to you everything about what you have ?

Best gastroenterologist I have used. I have been to three others and Dr Seth Steinberg is the best. Ten stars if I could.

Dr. Steinberg is an excellent office and he is very caring and patient provider. I didn’t wait long to be seen, and he was very straightforward with me about my case. I highly recommend him as a gastroenterologist. He also has performed my last 6 colonoscopies and they were flawless.

First time having a colonoscopy. Dr. Steinberg and team were professional and reassuring.

Dr. Steinberg is a wonderful doctor. He is easy to talk to and answer my questions. I have gone to him for my colonoscopies, procedures I don’t look forward to because of my own anxiety. However he has a way of talking to me and making me feel calm when it is my time. Now if only he could disguise the taste of that awful prep, he would be perfect.

I have an HMO therefore have a co-pay of $40.00 for both specialists and PT. I was referred by Dr Steinberg to do 8 weeks of PT. I attended 3 weeks of sessions and on the 4th week, the billing department doubled the co-pay on me. I paid my $40.00 for the 1st visit. at the 2nd and 3rd visit, was told that I didn't owe anything. I informed the receptionist that I doubted very much that I didn't owe anything and she told me "don't worry about it". I knew it would come back to me at some point but never in my wildest dreams thought the billing department would double my co-pay to $80.00. Now I have a balance due of $200.00 and I only believe it should be $80.00. I just find it so hard to believe doing this on services already rendered is okay. SMH! The Dr is the only reason I gave the 1 star. If you have reoccurring visits, try to get something in writing before you begin. I have cancelled the last 5 sessions and will NEVER go back to this office again. So sad to be… treated this way. Sorry to review so badly, Doc.

Bad bedside manner, just wants copay and move on to the next.
