It's been several years, but Dr. Weinreb removed a fibroadenoma from my breast after another doctor did an inappropriate vacuum assisted biopsy causing a great deal of pain. Dr. Weinreb was kind and listened carefully and explained everything. When he performed the surgery, I had no complications. He was sensitive to the location and appearance of the scar (under the nipple) and now you really can't tell it was ever there. I could not have had a better experience with a surgeon.

My experience with Dr. Weinreb has been spectacular. I have something, unknown still, that mimics that of a hernia exactly where the stomach exists by the left mid/upper rib. I've been dealing with significant pain, and I managed to dislodge something that was likely the cooperate, however I still remained in pain/discomfort unable to sleep on my left side or back. I had exploratory surgery, which went well, and while I don't believe anything was found, my pain has since nearly dissipated. The surgery wounds are still fresh and dealing with a bout of Laparoscopic-Induce Shoulder pain, but I know that will eventually go away and I'll be in much better shape. I am very grateful for Dr. Weinreb; he is extremely smart and very down to Earth. Thanks!

I don't think you'll find a better surgeon in North Carolina for complex hernia repairs. Possibly not even on the east coast.

Dr. Weinrab took care of me like I was part of his family. He helped me through a very difficult surgery and I would highly recommend him!
