I really wanted to see a black female doctor so I gave her a chance. I was so put off by the office policies like many others that I never made it to her. You have to leave a credit card on file which I had never done with a GYN and then formally write out that you will pay whatever the lab fees are no matter what the cost. Then she triple booked me. The level of unprofessionalism in that office is worse than anything I could ever describe to you. I left after the first waiting room because I felt so uncomfortable. Needless to say I was definitely not entrusting this doctor with any part of me. The vibe in that office is so unsettling believe me when I say listen to your gut and leave. Her name is not even in the directory and nobody was manning the security desk downstairs

Do not see this doctor. The wait time is ridiculous, they require your credit card information even if it’s a free annual check up, and you must write a statement at the end of the visit to ensure you’d pay regardless of cost. There was a long wait time to get into a room and then again to see Dr. McDaniel. She rushed through the appointment. At the end of the appointment, the receptionist said that I had two choices: state that I want my Pap smear sent to the lab regardless of cost or have my Pap smear thrown in the trash. I’m sure my insurance covers an annual check up especially since I chose an in-network provider. However, if Dr. McDaniels uses a lab outside of my network, then I’d be responsible for the costs. I couldn’t call my insurance to verify that everything is covered because it was after customer service hours. So I was forced to write this statement, which made me very uncomfortable. If I refused to write it, then my Pap smear would have been thrown out and I would… have wasted two hours of my time. I highly recommend finding a different doctor.

Rude and obnoxious attitude, first time and absolutely the most uncomprehendable Doctor there is out there. Just by sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours I've noticed that the staff is unprofessional and makes comments about each patient and gossips patients private medical info to each other also curses patients as they get off the phone with them. She literally made me cry just by her negative energy and hounding questions and back and forth arguing with me. Would not let me get a word in and questioned my every word. Unsure of how she got a doctorate or why she decided to deal with people. She is definitely not fit for working with people and handling their personal health. She should of worked at McDonalds. I feel sorry for her husband the office manager poor guy, but if you've met him he is no better himself. Good luck to whoever wishes to go there.

Very nasty attitude. Thinks she is too good for anyone just because she is a doctor. Does not know how to communicate well with others. Very hostile first impression, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Tables have blood stains all over very unclean.

I'm not a huge reviewer, however I felt my experience here warranted a review. I've been seeing Dr. McDaniel for over 5 years. I never really had any issues with her, other than the fact that she's not very warm, but I continued to go to her for my yearly exams. My recent experience with her was unfathomable. It's my first time getting pregnant and also having a miscarriage. First thing to note, she doesn't have an sonogram machine in the office. She talked super fast about all the different scenarios that "could be" going on with me and sent me all the way uptown to get a sonogram, which took about 2.5 hours. She doesn't encourage questioning, she isn't empathetic, and her and the office has NO SENSE OF URGENCY. It took them over 24 hours to verify they received the sonogram and over 36 hours to confirm that I was in fact having a miscarriage. I had to actually do most of the work myself. Called her office about 10 times, asked my husband to call and put some pressure on… her staff, I emailed them through the portal which only seems to be managed by the Dr. herself... it was ridiculous. When I asked her questions about X,Y,Z, via email SHE DOESNT TAKE PHONE CALLS, she says "I told you about this at your visit." I was an emotionally drained woman having a miscarriage, my apologies for not understanding your quick explanations about X, Y, and Z. She's rude and insensitive. Long story short, I quickly had my sonograms from the Radiologist faxed to a new OBGYN, wouldn't count on her office to get anything right regarding medical records, and quickly learned from the new Dr. what was relevant to my situation. Instead of feeling bad about miscarrying the new Dr. actually helped me understand why. Dr. McDaniel needs to practice empathy and urgency. I quickly told my sister to get a new Dr. I would never want her to feel as bad as I did this week.

My experience with this doctor was awful. Nurses and reception were rude and clueless. It seemed as though half of them hadn't even worked in a doctors office before. The entire office seemed completely dysfunctional. Multiple appointments were scheduled at the same time. I waited over an hour with 2 other people in front of me that had yet to be seen before I left the office for good. I found it very ironic that they charge you $30 if you are late to an appointment. I could have shown up 2 days late and would likely still be waiting to be seen. Unless you have nothing else to do with your day, this place may be great. Otherwise, don't even bother. Never going back, waste of time.

My overall experience with Dr. McDaniel and her staff has been very positive.

This office is all about making money and not about patient care. The staff is very rude. The doctor always seems rushed and the turn around time to get results are horrible. As a matter of fact, you can't get results over the phone. You will have to visit the office, pay, to hear that you're fine. I was overcharged on my co-payment and after pointing it out to the staff was told that it was a precaution as they didnt know how much my insurance will cover!!!My issue was never resolved and it was very difficult for me to obtain my records from the doctor in a timely manner.I will rather go to the ER before visiting this doctor again. I wont recommend her to anyone.

Please stay away from this doctor! I went to this doctor in an emergency and I only had to wait a few days for an appointment vs. months at certain places! After waiting in the office for HOURS I was seen for 5 minutes. She kept saying my tests were coming back abnormal, made me take unnecessary and PAINFUL tests. I was passed out in the doctors office and was pretty much told by the nurses to suck it up and walk home! She is money hungry and is just trying to milk your insurance for as much as she can get. I will never return!! I now see another doctor in NJ who never found any problems and looked over my medical records and said everything done by Dr. McDaniels was unneeded.I worked as a medical biller when i was younger and I took a look at my medical records and she was billing my insurance for tests that I never had done! Billing me for a 45 minute visit when I was there for a 2 minute consultation! ROBBERY!

My overall experience with Dr. Mc Daniel was extremely positive. Although I had to wait 25 minutes, I realized that it's expected because she gives each patient the time they require. So since some people require more time, it is bound to create some delays in one's appointment. I think people who complain about waiting are unrealistic and these same people would complain if she did not spend enough time with them.Honestly, I think she is a great doctor and I will continue to see her and recommend my freiends as well.
