Dr. Bidiwala showed great care and understanding during the entire process. From first being seen to post surgery. Appointments were also prompt. I felt very confident in his suggestions and performance through it all.

I have suffered with severe back pain during the night for the last 7 years and was not able to sleep more than a couple of hours a night. I was treated for a bulging disc in my lumbar spine but the pain would not go away. I have had steroid injections under anesthesia and PRP injections, but nothing would take away my pain. My PRP doctor ordered another MRI of my lumbar spine which revealed at the point the MRI cut off, an Intradural Extramedullary tumor of the thoracic spine at T10/11. After reading my MRI results I felt somewhat relieved finally knowing the cause of my excruciating pain for so many years but also scared because now I was facing a tumor diagnosis in my spine. Dr. Bidiwala was recommended to me by another surgeon and within a couple of days I was seeing him in his Dallas office. He went over my MRI results, explaining everything in detail about what he suspected was a Schwannoma tumor. From the moment I met him I knew I was in great hands. His bedside manner and clear… explanation made me feel comfortable to proceed with surgery to remove the tumor, despite the fact that it was severely compressing my spinal cord and nerves. He answered every question I had, and explained everything in simple terms. I knew there were risks associated with the complex surgery but I felt very comfortable to proceed because I had my full trust in Dr. Bidiwala. Fortunately, my surgery was successful without any complications, the tumor was removed and confirmed to be a benign Schwannoma. I spent 6 days in the hospital and Dr. Bidiwala would come and see me everyday to check up on me and answer any questions I had during recovery. He truly is the most professional, caring doctor and highly skilled surgeon I have ever encountered. He is a wonderful and humble person. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon. His office staff is very helpful and professional as well. My whole experience has been wonderful and I am truly grateful for him. I am able to sleep without pain - something I never thought I was going to be able to do again. He has given me a second chance at life. Thank you Dr. Bidiwala!! I am forever grateful for you!

Dr. Bidiwala and his PA make for a talented neurosurgical team. I was able to schedule a consult and surgery within weeks rather than months. And his office staff is a joy to work. It was a stress-free medical experience.

He did a lousy surgery on my back 4 years ago, never relieved my pain. Now I have neurophy. Warning do not let him do surgery on you.

Dr. Bidiwala is an excellent doctor. He is reassuring, knowledgable, and takes time with his patients. When I was hospitalized in 2017, I was struck by the admiration every person had for him, both medical personnel and regular people included. That continues to this day, in his waiting room! This speaks volumes for the level of well deserved respect for him personally and for his expertise about the subject at hand.
