Dr. Shady Elsamra, MD

He was sending me money and grooming me as well as prescribing based off an opinion not my actual diagnosis. He triggered me into a mixed episode by leaving me un properly medicated as well as ignored my needs when I reached out while having extremely adverse as well as an allergic reaction to medication. He refused to tell me what to do to get off of the medication causing me hazardous and life threatening problems. The hospital refuses to acknowledge his wrong doing.

He's a VERY compassionate doctor, probably the best I've had, and I only met with him for about two hours. I spent a night in an emergency room psychiatric/crisis wing, and within an hour of speaking with him he gave me an accurate diagnosis that had evaded me for years, and helped to put me on the right path for treatment. I felt extremely comfortable talking to him and he listened very well to what I said about my symptoms and concerns. All in all I would definitely recommend him to anybody on the hunt for a psychiatrist... If he could properly diagnose me within an hour and get me discharged from the hospital in only two, I can't even imagine how wonderful he would be if he were my regular psychiatrist. 10/10, would DEFINITELY recommend.
