Dr. Shahab A Malik, MD

One of best pedetricians my daughters have had. I have a daughter with downs syndrome& times it's difficult to give shots or basic check up procedures but not for Dr. Malik. She listened to him and it was just so easy for him. She looks forward to visiting him & nurse practitioner. Dr. Malik actually makes Dr. Visits easy and we trust his opinions and diagnosis.

Dr. Malik is a wonderful doctor. He does a great job treating the problems. his office staff is terrible and they are very RUDE! It takes 2 hours to get a response from his office staff and I can never get a same day emergency appointment anymore. Need new staff othere wise don't go there

Dr. Malik has been my kids doctor for 11 years. Dr. Malik is a wonderful doctor. He does a great job treating the problems. However, most of his office staff is terrible and they are very RUDE! It takes hours to get a response from his office staff and I can never get a same day emergency appointment anymore. Bottem line Dr. Malik is overwhelmed and his office staff is rude.

As the title indicates, great doctor, but completely Incompentent staff.Received an incorrect billing statement; called CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. They ddint pay because the annual visit was incorrectly given the billing code (by his staff) of "general surgery."I have called now 12 times over a period of four days. Immedialtely put on hold for 5 to 10 minutes, and when I say it is a billing question am informed she is not in today. Really? Every day for several days over a two week period now? Absurd and rediclous. Doesn't matter if he s a great docotor if he surrounds himself with idiots.

My husband and I love Dr Malik. We could not ask for a more caring and passionate physician. Any time my daughter needs to see him I can always get an appointment with no problem. Sometimes the wait can be a little overwhelming but I will not change doctors. I am thankful to find someone who is as wonderful as him. i recommend Dr. Malik to everyone.

My family was with dr. MAlik for 5 years before i had my child who started seeing him. Dr.malik is a wonderful doctor when your in his office. He caught problems with my son early on and did an excellcent job of treating the problems. BUT if your not in his office face to face it takes entirely to long to have something taken care of. A specialist needed a form filled out for my son, after it was faxed it took 10 days for dr.malik to fill it out and fax it back. Anytime i attempted to call into the office it took hours to get a response if i ever got one. Most of his staff is rude and very short with the patients. Sandra is the only one who will take time to stop and help patients. The wait in the office is out of hand, especially if you have a sick child. It seems he is very over whelmed.

My family has been with Dr.Malik for over 5 years. When i had my first child I, of course, started using Dr.Malik. He is an excellent doctor once you finally get into an exam room. Everytime ive gone in there we always waited at least 45 minutes for an appointment. I tried to make my appointments to be the first patient of the day and even than my son and I had to wait for him to come into the office(which wasnt ever on time). His office staff isn't very polite or compasionate. You cant ever get a call back from his office, which is very difficult for working parents. In order to get a response it's easier to get a same day appointment and wait with your sick child for almost an hour. I ended up leaving his practice because of these problems. It became a highly unnecessary battle.

nEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS ON THIS KIND AND GENTLE DOCTOR..

I have nothing but good experiences. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Malik. I would recommend him to all my family & friends.

he is an excellent doctor. he cares for you and your baby. he takes his time to explain every little details. i wish i find a good doctor that i am comfortable with like Dr. Malik in MN. thank you Dr. Malik.
