Dr. Shahab Shaffiey

Dr. Shaffiey did the "Nuss procedure" on my daughter for "Pectus Excavatum" correction 3 years ago. Since the day I noticed my daughter's deformity when she turned 3 years old, I had a growing fear in me that wouldn't be calmed down with anything. When my daughter became a teen, the time had come to do her surgery. I met with multiple surgeons, but I knew Dr. Shaffiey was the perfect surgeon to get the job done. He speaks in a very calm, reassuring manner. He answered all my questions and never rushed with all her appointments. Dr. Shaffiey and his staff provided us with recommendations and tips on how to prepare for the surgery before and after. Her surgery was a success. She looked great and felt great as well. After the 3-year mark of the surgery, the bar has done its job by correcting the Pectus, and it needs to be removed. It's been a month already since the removal, and my daughter feels amazing. She can fully breathe, is out of harm's way, and cosmetically looks great. The Nuss… surgery isn't easy; it's done close to your heart, involves your ribs, and is intense, but Dr. Shafffiey along with the assistants did an amazing job. Dr Shaffiey is a great Dr. My son had a tumor in his right adrenal gland and Dr Shaffiey removed it. He made what was a scary situation a success story. He made us understand everything that was going on. And answered all my questions. I recommend this Dr and I'm grateful for his services.
