Dr. Shahab Soleymani, MD

Dr. Shahab Soleymani is one of the best oral surgeons in New York! My mother was his patient and she recommended him to me for my wisdom tooth extraction that required surgery with stitches. Dr. Soleymani knows what he's doing and has an amazingly fast and painless technique. You'll be safe in his sure hands! I felt no pain during the procedure and didn't need to take pain reliever at all after the surgery! He is an outstanding surgeon and is also very patient and thoughtful. I highly recommend him to all. Thank you, Dr. Soleymani!

Even though insurance fully approved the oral surgery and anesthesia, this Dr. refused to do the surgery. The process of dealing with this awful Dr. had me waste several days. He is uneducated with respect to the insurance process and his staff is equally uneducated. I also learned that his out-of-pocket vs. what I would have to pay out-of-pocket through other providers if insurance didn't cover was outrageous. Don't waste your time.

Experienced dentist but poor bedside manner

Dr. Soleymani is a very experienced and exceptionally skilled dental surgeon! Add to this the fact that both himself and his office staff is so very friendly that will surely make you a lot more at ease. Over the course of 5 or so years I needed to visit his office on several occasions and a couple of times even with some issues that were not an easy thing to diagnose let alone fix. Dr. Soleymani's diagnosis was instant recognition of the problem from the x rays he has taken. When it was time for the needed surgery it was also a remarkably memorable experience, so surely he knows what he is doing and how quickly he was able to correct the problem. What about pain? What pain? His local anesthetic needles are so right spot on the nerve in question that the whole procedure is completely painless! I experienced the latter with similar results at every single one of my visits. His assistants are also highly trained and precise at instantly being just where needed and very helpful during… surgery. Needless to say all the problems turned out to be completely corrected post surgery with the work he has done. I should also add how one can't help noticing how amazingly well organized and efficient his entire workflow is while all is spotlessly clean and outfitted with the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment. If you need to see a dental surgeon, Dr. Shahab Soleymani is by far my highest recommendation!
