DR ETEBAR IS A WELL TRAINED AND SKILLED NEUROSURGEON..HIS BEDSIDE MANNER IS OUTSTANDING..HE TREATS HIS PATIENTS WITH KINDNESS , PROFESSIONALISM AND HONESTY. I waited over 2 hours to see him and when I finally did I asked why his patients wait so long. He laughed and said if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else. Thankfully I did. His medical assistant Rochelle that was in the room with us was a nasty little thing too.

I am still recovering so don't know how it will turn out, but I'm quite sure it will be good. But, the staff in his office clearly have instructions to not return your calls even though he has already operated on you. It says in post surgery instructions to call if you have more pain or anything unusual. I called day after day and got sent to a voice message system and no one returned my calls. I get it. They don't get paid for answering phone calls but there is something called responsibility to serve the patient. Never been treated like this ever anywhere.

I had an appointment scheduled for 3p today. After an acceptable wait a med asst called me in, weighed me and took my bp. After another wait the PA came in to check my reflexes which were good. Then the horror set in as I waited 1 hour and 45 mins to see the doctor. I chose to leave. Not one person came in to extend a courtesy to explain the delay. I stopped at the reception desk and told the receptionist to send the findings of my MRI etc. to my primary physician. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and I will not recommend this office even if he came on a personal referral by my doctor.

Dr. E performed lower back surgery on me and I cannot more highly recommend him. He was very thorough prior, and after as well as doing a terrific job.

I made an appointment to see Etebar but was only allowed to see his nurse and a steno. The nurse had me scheduled for 4 tests. At return visits I still couldn't see the doctor, only the nurse. She didn't discuss the test results or show me my Xrays. She said my next step was to schedule surgery. She was arrogant and condescending. Quite unprofessional.

Dr. Etebar performed two multilevel spine surgeries on me: 2006-a 14 hour lumbar surgery for spinal stenosis and scoliosis and 2017--a seven level thoracic and lumbar surgery for stenosis and scoliosis. He was excellent. The fact that my back gave me NO trouble for 10 and a half years between surgeries is a testament in itself.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Etebar. I thought my spinal condition was beyond repair. Less than a year after my surgery, I'm standing straight for the first time in years (I've even grown an inch taller!), I am completely free of pain, and I'm regaining my independence and freedom after years of debilitating agony. His knowledge and manner gave me complete confidence that he would be the right doctor for me, and boy, was he ever. This wonderful man gave me back my life and my gratitude is boundless.
