Dr. Shahla Vakili, MD

Dr. Vakili is a patient, seemingly knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor. She and her staff have been excellent advocates for me during my neurological struggles. She spends as much time with me as I need for thorough explanations and answers to my many questions. As I'm sure she does this with all her patients, that is why I typically have to wait 60+ minutes between the waiting room and the exam room before I see her. My advice to her office would be to make appointment slots longer for her patients knowing that she does this, so that wait times can be minimized. However, I've just learned to bring a book and not sweat it. She's worth the wait and, unlike with other doctors, I always leave her office feeling safe, confident that there's a plan of action for the complaints that brought me there, and supported in my medical journey. She makes me feel like I am not alone, and for that I will spent an entire half of a work day sitting in the exam room ;)

I have been with Dr.Vakili for some time I missed a lot of my appointments and She has been very patient with me , I feel she a great doctor. The only thing I hate is when she has an emergency or she goes on vacation she does not let you know in advance.

Dr vakili, should not be practising anywhere near a patience. She is so horrible with her diagnosis and has no understanding of her field. She is so vague in her report and does not remember any details. She has no office organization. How can a doctor be asking a patient when they last visited her office? Everything, paper work so disogarnized and she caused so much pain to me with so many numeruos unwaranted visits to her office and labs for MRI, etc.
