Dr. Shahryar K Kavoussi, MD

We drove 1200 miles to see doctor Shahryar Kavoussi, and I would do it all over again! Our flights got cancelled due to weather and we were not able to fly down. We called 2hrs late to our preop, and the entire staff were very accommodating!! My outlook was not great to begin with. I had one of my fimbrae removed and wasn't sure from pathology or operative report what the story was with the other side due to very poor tubal ligation from my last c-section at the hospital in my home town, I felt like I got butchered . Dr Shahryar Kavoussi is an amazing person and doctor! The moment we spoke for the first time(- over the phone consult) I felt he was the one to go to. And I thank God I did. The risk and the expense to get there was well worth it! We have a successful reversal on one side! Baby news to come later! Thank you doctor, your staff and the davinci robotic system, I highly recommend your practice and expertise. You all are the best!!

Dr. Shahryar K. Kavoussi I am so thankful that I decided to put my faith in him and his team. I never felt I was alone or ignored. He and his team definetly made me feel that they were concerned and that I was important. Because of Dr. Kavoussi my DH and I are 9 weeks pregnant!!!! after trying for 4 long years! We are so happy and so thankful for everything you did for us. You and your team are amazing.

This was not at all like any other doctor visits I have ever had. It was the most friendly and stress-free doctor's appointment I've ever experienced (ironically I thought it would be the most stressful due to my current predicament). Dr. Kavoussi is as wonderful as all his previous reviews I've read online described. I would recommend him and his wonderful staff at Austin Fertility to anyone seeking fertility help.

I originally saw Dr. S. Kavoussi for suspected Endometriosis and fertility problems. He was the first doctor to take me seriously and suggest a plan of action. Since then I've had one surgery, several consults and several rounds of fertility treatment. He has been patient, positive and kind the entire way through this difficult journey. Dr. S. Kavoussi never rushed me or made me feel stupid for asking questions. He always seemed genuinely concerned with how I was doing. I also appreciated that he never pushed treatments and always allowed me to go at my own pace. I saw him for appointments twice on weekends and had several personal calls from him after surgery and blood work. My husband and I joke about how he must never get to go on vacations. He is always so available for his patients. I would recommend him to anyone seeking help with fertility or endometriosis.

He is the most thorough, compassionate doctor I've had. Answers questions, doesn't rush or speak down to me. Very caring and friendly. Highly recommend him and his office.

I have had a few appointments with Dr. Kavoussi and one small surgery. He has a very dear and caring bedside manner and takes time to answer any questions. He is respectful and a good listener. I felt confident in his diagnosis and his skills in treatment. I would definitely recommend him.
