Dr Shailesh Jain

I know I'm a little late writing this review but when I was 11 years old dr. jain put me on this sleep pill because I was having trouble sleeping at night and melatonin wasn't helping and when it came time to up the medication, he went from a HALF pill to 3 WHOLE pills when he was only supposed to go from a HALF to 1 WHOLE and when I told my grandmother (who I was living with at the time) the prescription was wrong she pushed it off and told me I'd be fine. I took it that night (Thurs) went to school Fri morning and was more tired than normal but I brushed it off as "oh my meds were just upped" Fri night I took the pills again and Sat morning I went with my mom from 11-5 and during that time I took like 7 naps which was not normal for me and when I got home both me and my mom told my grandma I had taken 7 naps and she just told both of us I was just being lazy and dramatic THAT night I was emitted to the hospital as an od and when my grandma called the pharmacy they said it was jain… who messed up my prescription and when we confronted him about it he flew out of the country for 2 years claiming to have had a "family emergency" not even 24 hrs. after we talked to him and that same week I was emitted to a mental institution because he panicked and said to take me off ALL medication including my ADHD meds all cold turkey...I'm now 20

Very understanding, patient, and compassionate.

At first I felt insulted by some of his advice. After some relfection I realized that he was exactly right and that's what hurt! Truth hurts! So I continued to see him and work thru my issues. I sucked up those negative defensive thoughts that came up automatically and my life has changed dramatically. He has changed my life for the better. Love Dr. Jain!!!

Great doctor & has helped me tremendously!

Dr. Jain has been a God-send for me. He has helped me tremendously. I have been able to open up and talk about things that I have never had the courage to do on my own.

Doesn't pat attention when patient talks

If you want a doctor who is incompetent and so unprofessional that he does not believe HIPAA laws apply to him then this is your guy. Not only was his professional advise extremely harmful but I ended up having to get my attorney involved because he DOES NOT keep doctor/patient confidentiality. I advise anyone who uses him to have a good attorney.

Dr. Jain really helped me when no one else could. I am feeling better than I have in years. He listened and willing to do whatever it took to help me.

I went to him when i was dealing with major depression and i wish i would have never seen him. While I was talking he made me feel stupid and I felt like i was being judged. And he is so rude! He said he didnt know what to diagnose me with because he needed to hear how i am from my mom and husband. I have never heard of that! Even though i was telling him how i had been feeling and was even crying the whole time. Then, he said if i didnt bring them with me to my next visit for me to not bother coming.

Dr. Jain has no business treating patients. He's rude, insensitive, chauvinistic, and loves to treat his patients poorly as a away to show off in front of his students. Neither my son, nor I ever felt comfortable with him, and he told me I was wasting his time..time I spent a LOT of money for. All I got for my money were constant insults and criticism. He's has no concept of the term "good bedside manner".
