Dr. Shakil Ahmed Tukdi, MD

Dr. Tukdi is an amazing Psychiatrist. Finally the one who doesn’t push medications down the throat, other psychiatrist that I have visited in the past didn’t listen much and shut me up by prescribing multiple medications which only made me feel worse. He is caring, calm and compassionate, I highly recommend Dr. Tukdi.

Dr. Tukdi is a patient doctor with a genuine desire to help the adolescents he treats. He helped my teen cope with a multitude of symptoms over many months which involved many medication trials and a combination of drugs. Dr. Tukdi always treated my teen with the utmost respect - listening carefully and explaining why he was making the medication decisions he did and considering the patient's feelings as well. He keeps very good records and tracks dosages and side effects better than any other doctor. Dr. Tukdi is very careful not to over-prescribe. This can be a source of contention with patients who really want more of a medication to feel better and do not believe Dr. Tukdi about these drugs' addictiveness. Dr. Tukdi encourages healthy habits - not just medication. He is always calm and empathetic. I can see how some very distraught individuals would be upset with him for not giving them what they want, but I assure you he truly wants his patients to find health and balance. His… staff and assistant physician are all wonderful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Tukdi.

Dr. Tudki is an excellent psychiatrist! He listens, never rushes, and is very thorough during your appointment. I was referred to him by my GP and was told he was their preferred provider and I can truly see why. He has monitored my treatment very closely making sure I'm getting the optimal benefits with every change. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tudki and his staff. I have referred friends and family to him because I know they would be in the best hands and receive excellent care.

Dr, Tukdi has proven time and again that his is willing to sacrifice his patients comfort and well being to further inflate his own god complex. Threatening and punishing psychiatric patients for questioning his decisions, to the point of malicious intent. He should be avoided.

Very disappointed with Dr. Tukdi. He wrote me a prescription that ran out 1 week prior to my next appointment with then wanted me to wait 4 days without medicine before he would be able to write me another prescription. I ran out of my medicine on a Thursday and his office told me to come by the following Monday after 3:30pm. 4 days without medicine was the best that he could do for his patient when I told him that I was out. Unacceptable and I will not be returning and do not recommend anyone use him. He doesn't care about his patients.

Dr Tukdi offers patience and expertise to provide patients with education and understand of their diagnosis. Patients are encouraged to communicate openly with doctor to assist patients with learning to utilize coping skills.
