Dr. Atassi grew up in Houston and graduated from Memorial High School. She attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Following completion of her undergraduate studies, Dr. Atassi attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. While at the University of Texas, she was active in her role as Class Vice-President all four years. She continued her dedication in serving organized dentistry by volunteering in various roles in the Capital Area Dental Society after dental school and is the proud recipient of the Capital Area Dental Society's 2006 New Dentist of the Year Award. Dr. Atassi is currently involved in the following organizations:

Dr. Atassi moved …to Austin in 2002. She and her husband, Jeff, enjoy the new adventures in parenting with their son Owen and daughter Audrey. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and devotes all her spare time to entertaining the kids at the jungle gym.
