Dr. Shandrieka Poree Vallare

Shandrieka Poree Vallare is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and seniors to better manage their anxiety, depression, anger management difficulties, relationship difficulties, coping skills, life transitional issues, academic problems, low self-esteem, chronic stress, and women’s issues. Shandrieka earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Southern University—New Orleans. She's an active listener who enjoys engaging with her clients as they work together towards identifying and achieving short and long-term goals. Shandrieka utilizes various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, person center therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy. From professional experience, she knows that improving one's behavioral health can lead to increased quality of life, healthier families, more satisfying personal …relationships, and stronger communities.
