Dr. Shane Alexander Schutt, MD

Had surgery in 2015 on right leg and foot. Within 2 hours getting home it was infected.and ended up with MRSA. He kept it hush hush

Spent 5 months in a boot, paying $600 for every 2-3 week 10 minute visit, with no results. tried a different doctor who solved my problem in 2 weeks and 2 visits for $500 total... amazed at the difference. Had been seeing Schutt for 10 years, wish I would have woke up sooner. Once he switched to MD West One, service went down and price increased greatly. Very nice Doctor, but would get a second opinion. New costs per visit are completely insane!!!

I had surgery from his partner. During recover, the doctor wrapped my toe too tight and it got a big sore and got numb. Finally I went to Dr. Shutt for help. His comment "it's not the worse thing in the world to have a numb toe" and didn't help. He was my hope but he didn't care. I would never go to him again.

It's been a long haul after a botched surgery from another physician. Dr. Schutt gathered the pieces and formed an immediate plan of action in the right direction. He didn't sugar coat it but was extremely professional and compassionate with all phases of my Dad's treatment. His office staff is excellent! Everyone works as a team and saves the head-butts for behind the scenes and leaves the patient always receiving the best care in a timely fashion. My entire family is extremely grateful to everyone involved from the office secretaries to the medical techs to nurses to PA's and especially to Dr. Schutt.

My Dad had foot surgery that went very bad, very fast by another physician. After landing in the hospital, his Infectious Disease doctor recommended Dr. Schutt. After an evaluation by Dr. Schutt, a second and corrective surgery was performed within 24 hours. Dr Schutt didn't "sugar-coat" the plan for recovery but was very kind, respectful and direct in his instructions. I have not met him, but did work at the same hospital. My parents speak very highly of Dr. Schutt and appreciate his dedication and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Schutt from a professional and personal standpoint.

I was referred to Dr. Schutt by my Orthopedic Surgeon because he is a very respected foot and ankle surgeon. I had an extensive surgery, nine screws and a plate in my fourth and fifth metatarcal. I think he is fantastic!!! Very caring and tuned in. Excellent surgeon!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Schutt to anyone. He's a great doctor and a great person!! It is very hard to find that combination in an orthopedic surgeon!!!
