If you have anything beyond basic depression or anxiety then I'd recommend finding someone else. She based my diagnosis on a "feeling" and how I present myself in the therapy room instead of diagnostic criteria, trauma symptoms I've had my entire life, and how I act outside of therapy. Not once was she interested in any of the reading material I brought in and she preferred to do her own reading because she didn't know how to treat my problems. Instead of referring me to someone else who was capable of treating me, she continued to spend our sessions doing nothing but talk therapy. If you've been through a traumatic event, have some form of C/PTSD, or a Personality Disorder then you need to find someone that does EMDR, Ego State Therapy, or Internal Family Systems because you won't find anything beyond talk therapy here.
