Shanna Barry, MSN, FNP-C

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Shanna Barry practices a team-based approach to health care, working alongside the clients to create care plans that are tailored to their individual needs and desires. She strives to develop long-term relationships with people and help them realize they will never face judgment in her care. As she educates them on health and wellness, she values all she learns from clients as well. Shanna has worked in nursing for 25 years and in family practice for 17 years. She has a special interest in designing care plans to treat chronic wounds and watching the difference those plans and treatments can make in a person’s life.
Shanna tries to practice gratitude daily in her own life and she makes time to connect with her family and friends on a regular basis. Her meditation is not a quiet moment, but tap dancing, or as she calls it, “making music with your feet.” She has danced with an amateur tap dance company in Austin, Texas, and …says tap dancing provides a connection to herself and others.
