One of the most cold hearted and insensitive care provider I have ever met. Didn't listen to me. Didn't appreciate my wishes. It was her way or highway kind of situation.

First I saw I guess it was an assistant protect me and who was very pleasant and then I saw a Doctor who I assume was maybe a resident and then the fire alarm went off when I returned I saw Dr Merbs

This was my first time at this location and I was disappointed in how the doctor treated me. I felt like I was wasting her time and that she really didn't have time

Dr Merbs is excellent!

Physicians answered all questions.

No doubt the most skilled oculoplastic surgeon you could ever find! Do not waste your time with anyone else.

I was recommended to Dr. Merbs for a droopy eyelid surgery repair. I was comfortable while undergoing the procedure as it was thoroughly explained prior to the event. Not only was it successfully completely but my eye fatigue and compromised vision was clearly eliminated.

Dr. Merbs took two phone calls while seeing my daughter for an infection. Both nurse and doctor recorded information wrong in the chart.

I was very impressed with Dr. Merbs. From the start she was able to see the basal cell cancer on my eyelid and diagnose it correctly. She was very calm and explained what she was going to have to do to remove it in detail. She then went out to the reception desk and immediately found me an appointment quickly. I had the skin cancer removed soon thereafter and the eye lid was repaired with almost no flaw to be seen. Her work was well done. Although she had taken out a good chunk of eyelid, no one will ever know. She is AMAZING! Would recommend highly!

Diagnosed with periorbital cellulitis at my local ER. Was told to follow up with ophthalmologist at Wilmer since I’m already a patient there. Got there, the med tech was great. Dr. Merbs , not so much. She stated the obvious of pinkeye, I explained that I wasn’t there for that but for the periorbital cellulitis. She sighed and said yeah you got a little on the eyelid like it was no big deal. Made me feel like I had wasted her time (which she said a few minutes later). Didn’t want to read the notes from the CT scan. Was upset because I didn’t have the films. Told me I was done and she’d check us out. Walked out of the room and stopped st the reception desk to make sure everything was done and she comes walking up saying she’d taken care of it and waved ya out of the office. Did t explain the cellulitis at all and did t ask if I had any questions. Will never ever recommend her. No compassion what so ever!
